Özet
Değer bir toplumun bireylerinin çoğunluğu tarafından benimsenen ortak düşünce, amaç, temel ahlaki ilkeler ya da inançlar bütünü olarak ifade edilebilir. Eğitim sistemlerinin en temel amacı o toplumun doğru ve iyi kabul ettiği değerleri fertlere doğru bir şekilde aktarabilmektir. Duyuşsal yönü daha baskın olan değer eğitiminden ulaşılacak nihai hedef, eğitimin de en önemli amacı olan iyi insan yetiştirmektir. Birey toplumdan ayrı düşünülemez. Toplum içinde yaşamını sürdürürken öğrenme faaliyetini gerçekleştirir. Bu esnada öğrendiklerini pekiştirir ve geliştirir. Tüm bunlar bireyin kişiliğini oluşturur. Birey toplumdan beslenir ve toplumun yarattığı kültürü yansıtır. Türk halk kültürünün önemli kaynaklarından biri olan ''türkülerin' 'halkın değer yargılarını, acılarını, sevinçlerini, yaşam tarzını, adet, gelenek ve göreneklerini nesilden nesile aktardığı görülür. Popüler kültürün etkisiyle türkülerden uzak kalan öğrencilerin değer yargıları kazanmasında; türkülerin etkili olabileceği düşünülmektedir. Müzik dersi bu noktada; insan hayatında derin izler bırakabilecek önemli bir köprüdür. Bu sebeple; müzik dersi çocukların gelişim sürecinde göz ardı edilmemesi gereken önemli bir alandır. Çalışmada 2022/2023 eğitim öğretim yılındaki Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı Talim Terbiye Kurulu tarafından onaylanan, 5,6,7 ve 8. sınıf müzik dersi kitaplarındaki türküler, değerler eğitimi açısından ele alınmıştır. Bu türkülerde geçen değerler tespit edilmiş, türkü sözlerinin değerler eğitimindeki önemi vurgulanmaya çalışılmıştır. Müzik ders kitaplarında; toplam 55 adet türkü nitel araştırma yöntemi olan doküman tarama modeli kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Araştırma neticesinde toplam 5 değere ait bulgu ve yorumlara ulaşılmış, incelenen türkülerin çocuklara değer aktarımı konusunda örnek sözleri tespit edilmiştir. Bu sebeple değerler eğitiminde türkülerden yararlanılmasının isabetli olacağı düşünülmektedir.

Value can be expressed as a set of common ideas, goals, basic moral principles or beliefs adopted by the majority of the members of a society. The most basic purpose of education systems is to convey the values that the society accepts as correct and good to the individ-uals. The ultimate goal of values education, which has a more dominant affective aspect, is to raise good people, which is the most important goal of education. The individual cannot be separated from society. While continuing his life in the society, he performs the learn-ing activity. In the meantime, he reinforces and develops what he has learned. All these make up the personality of the individual. The individual is fed by the society and reflects the culture created by the society. It is seen that“folk songs”, which are one of the im-portant sources of Turkish folk culture, transfer the values, pain, joy, lifestyle, customs, traditions and customs of the people from generation to generation. With the influence of popular culture, students who stay away from folk songs gain value judgments; folk songs are thought to be effective. The music lesson is at this point; It is an important bridge that can leave deep traces in human life. Therefore; Music lesson is an important area that should not be ignored in the development process of children. In the study, the folk songs in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade music textbooks approved by the Ministry of National Education Board of Edu-cation and Discipline in the 2022/2023 academic year were discussed in terms of values education. The values in these folk songs have been determined and the importance of the lyrics in values education has been tried to be emphasized. In music textbooks; A total of 55 folk songs were analyzed using the document scanning model, which is a qualitative research method. As a result of the research, findings and interpretations of a total of 5 values were reached, and sample words of the examined folk songs about transferring val-ue to children were determined. For this reason, it is thought that it would be appropriate to use folk songs in values education.
