Özet
Kıssalar, Kur'ân'da önemli bir yekûn teşkil ettiğinden tefsir faaliyetlerinde önemli bir konuma sahiptir. Bu nedenle Tefsir tarihi boyunca müfessirler kıssaların anlaşılması noktasında yoğun çaba sarf etmişler ve kıssaları farklı yönleri ile ele alıp incelemişlerdir. Bunlardan biri de Sebe Melikesi Kıssası'dır. Bu kıssa, hüdhüdün olağanüstü hali, Sebe yöneticisinin kadın olması, Hz. Süleyman'ın bir cinle iletişime geçmesi vb. özelliklere sahip olmasıyla diğer kıssalardan ayrılmaktadır. Dolayısıyla söz konusu kıssa hakkında yapılacak bir çalışma, müfessirlerin hem kıssa algılarını hem de muhtelif konuları nasıl değerlendirdiklerini gözler önüne serecektir. Bu çalışmada söz konusu kıssa müfessirlerin semantik analizlerini ortaya koymak amacıyla sadece rivayet ve dil odaklı tefsirlerde incelenecektir. Müfessirlerin görüşlerini bütüncül bir tarzda zikretmek adına tefsirlere kronolojik sıralama dikkate alınarak müracaat edilecektir. Tefsirlerin belirlenmesi noktasında Edirnevî (öl. 1095/1684'ten sonra[?])'nin Tabakâtü'l-müfessirîn'ini dikkate alınacaktır. Araştırma, hacminin büyümemesi için yedince yüzyıl öncesinde kaleme alınan eserlerle sınırlandırılacaktır.

Since they constitute a great proportion of the Qur'ân stories occupy an important place in tafsîr-writings. Thus, exegetes spent much effort in deciphering stories over the course of the history of Tafsîr, and thus they dealt with the satories and examined them from various angles. Among these stories is the story of Queen of Saba'. This story is unique due to various reasons, including the extraordinary nature of the hudhud , the fact that the head of Saba' is a woman, that King Solomon communicates with a jinn. The present work seeks to reveal the understandings of exegetes with regard to stories and the way they deal with various subjects. With the purpose of revealing the semantic analysis of the exegetes with regard to the aforementioned story, the present work analyses it onlt within the scope of riwâya (report) and language centered exegeses. In an effort to mention the views of the exegetes in a unified way, the exegeses will be cited chronologically. The chronologically order to be followedin this regard will be determined on the basis of Tabaqât al-Mufassirîn by Edirnevî. For the sake of economy, this study is limited with works produced prior to the seventh century.
