Özet
Bu tezin amacı, Butler'ın queer kuramına ilişkin düşüncelerini, felsefi ve siyasi temellere dayandırarak incelemektir. Butler'ın kuramı yalnızca cinsiyet ve toplumsal cinsiyet üzerine geliştirilmiş bir kuram değildir. Butler kuramını, her anlamda ötekileştirilmiş ve yok sayılmış bedenler üzerine geliştirmiştir. Butler'ın eserlerini okurken felsefenin önemli kavramlarından, özneleşme, kimlik, iktidar, performativizm gibi kavramlar ekseninde okumak ve tartışmak önem taşır. Butler'ın düşüncesi, her insanın yaşam hakkının biricik olduğu ve bununla birlikte hiç kimsenin hiçbir gerekçeyle şiddete maruz kalmaması gerektiği temeline dayanır. Kaygılarım arasında yer alan eşit yaşam hakkını açıklamak ve eşit yaşam hakkına erişebilmek, bu tezi yazma motivasyonumun temelidir. Her yaşamın eşit derecede yaşam sayılmadığı, her ölümün yası tutulmadığı bir dünyanın egemenlik ve iktidar ağlarına dönüp bakmak gerektiği düşüncesindeyim. Hangi yaşamın yaşamaya değer olduğunu ve kimin yasının tutulabilir olduğunu görmek için etik normları tahsis edenlere, muhalefetle ve eleştiriyle tepki vermek önem taşır. Daha da önemlisi bu muhalefet ve tepkinin felsefi temellere dayandırılarak yapılması savunmamızı güçlendirir. Bu çalışma, sadece LGBTİQ problemlerine değil, öznellik, kimlik problemlerine de alan açan bir tez olması bakımından önem taşımaktadır.

The purpose of writing this thesis is to analyze Butler's thoughts on Queer Theory, basing it on philosophical and political foundations. Butler's theory, is not just a theory about sex and gender. Butler, developed her theory on bodies that were marginalized and ignored in every sense. While reading Butler's works, it is important to read and discuss the important concepts of philosophy, such as subjectivation identity, power and performativisim. Butler's thought is based on the principle that every person's right to live is unique and that no one should be subjected to violence for any reason whatsoever. Explaining the right to equal life and accessing the right to equal life which is among my concerns is the basis of my motivation for writing this thesis. I believe, sovereignht and power networks of a a world where not every life is counted as a life equally and not every death is mourned should be looked at. To see which life is life and who can be mourned, it is important react with opposition and criticism to those who set ethical norms. The fact that this opposition and criticism are based on philosophical grounds strengthens the defense. This thesis is important in that it opens a field not only for he problems of LGBTTIQ+ but also for he problems subjectivity and identity.
