Özet

Uluslararası piyasalarda hızla önem kazanan rekabet kavramı ve ürünlerin, hizmetlerin, emeğin, bilgi birikimlerinin etkin bir şekilde aktarılması; işletmelerin, içinde bulundukları piyasada pozitif etki sağlayan bir kriter haline gelmiştir. Bu nedenle rekabet piyasasında, işletmelerin tedarik zinciri yönetimi ve dış ticaret faaliyetlerinde yürütecekleri lojistik uygulamalarında yapacakları iyileştirmeler onlara büyük avantajlar sağlayacaktır. Lojistik sektöründe yaşanan olumlu gelişmeler, lojistik sektörünün ihracat hacminin gelişimi üzerine olan etkisinin ana faktörü olmuştur. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye lojistik sektöründeki gelişmelerin Türkiye ihracat performansı üzerine etkileri araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada 1997- 2022 yılları arası ele alınmış ve lojistik sektörü değişkenleri olarak ihracat hacmi, ulaştırma depolama yatırımları, brüt sabit sermaye yatırımları, lojistik merkez sayısı, taşımacılık modları toplam araç sayısı ve deniz-kara taşımacılığı yük miktarları kullanılmıştır. ARDL sınır testi ve VAR altında nedensellik testi yöntem olarak kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda bağımlı değişken olan ihracat performansı üzerine brüt sabit sermaye yatırımlarının, taşımacılık modları toplam araç sayısının ve lojistik merkez sayısının pozitif etkisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Uzun dönem etkileri tespit edilmiş olup ayrıca VAR altında nedensellik testi analiz sonuçları çalışmanın dördüncü bölümünde ayrıntılı olarak incelenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır.

The concept of competition, which is rapidly gaining importance in international markets, and the effective transfer of products, services, labor and know-how have become a criterion that provides a positive impact on the market in which businesses are located. Therefore, in the competitive market, the improvements that enterprises will make in their logistics practices in supply chain management and foreign trade activities will provide them with great advantages. The positive developments in the logistics sector have been the main factor of the impact of the logistics sector on the development of export volume. In this study, the effects of developments in Turkey's logistics sector on Turkey's export performance are investigated. The period between 1997 and 2022 is considered in the study and export volume, transportation warehousing investments, gross fixed capital investments, number of logistics centers, total number of vehicles in transportation modes and sea-land freight volumes are used as logistics sector variables. ARDL bounds test and causality test under VAR were used as methods. As a result of the study, it is concluded that gross fixed capital investments, total number of vehicles in transportation modes and the number of logistics centers have a positive effect on export performance, which is the dependent variable. Long-run effects have been identified and the results of the causality test analysis under VAR are analyzed and interpreted in detail in the fourth section of the study.
