Özet
ÖZET Özdağ, Ş., Psikodrama gruplannın hemşirelik yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin benlik saygısı atılgan davranış empatik eğilim ve empatik beceri düzeylerine etkisi, Hacettepe Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü Psikiyatri Hemşireliği Programı Doktora Tezi, Ankara, 1999. Deneysel olarak gerçekleştirilen bu çalışma Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Hemşirelik Yüksekokulu n. sınıf öğrencileri ile yapılmıştır. Çalışmada psikodrama gruplannın öğrencilerin benlik saygısı, atılgan davranış, empatik beceri ve empatik eğilimleri üzerindeki etkisini değerlendirmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma örneklemine 18'i deney grubunda, 18 'i kontrol grubunda olmak üzere 36 öğrenci alınmıştır. 1997-1998 öğretim döneminin ilk haftasında öğrencilere Öğrenci Bilgi Formu, Rosenberg Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği, Kolej Kendini Anlatma Ölçeği, Empatik Beceri Ölçeği ve Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği verilmiştir. Deney ve kontrol grubunun oluşturulmasında ve eşleştirilmesinde öğrencilerin benlik saygısı, atılgan davranış, empatik beceri ve empatik eğilim düzeyleri kriter olarak alınmıştır. Grupların oluşturulmasından sonra deney grubuyla iki haftada bir iki saat olmak üzere tüm öğretim yılını kapsayan toplam ondört psikodrama oturumu yapılmıştır. Psikodrama gruplannın etkinliğini değerlendirmek amacıyla I. dönemin ve E. dönemin sonunda ölçekler deney ve kontrol grubuna tekrar doldurtularak iki grubun karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. Toplanan verilerin analizi bilgisayarda SPSS programında yapılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Man Witney U Testi, Wilcoxon Testi, Friedman Testi ve yüzdelik değerlendirmesi kullanılmıştır. Deney grubundaki öğrencilerle yapılan psikodrama oturumları sonunda bu gruptaki öğrencilerin benlik saygısı, atılgan davranış düzeyleri kontrol grubuna göre artış göstermiş ancak aradaki fark anlamlı bulunmamıştır. Deney grubunun kendi içinde yapılan incelemede ise bu artışın kendi içinde anlamlı olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırma süresince deney grubunun empatik beceri düzeylerinin yükselme gösterdiği saptanmış, kontrol grubuyla karşılaştınldığında da aradaki farkın anlamlı olduğu ortaya konmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlan empatik eğilim yönünden incelendiğinde ondört oturumluk psikodrama grubunun öğrencilerin empatik eğilimini arttırmada yeterli olmadığı bulunmuştur.VI Psikodrama gruplarının Hemşirelik Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin benlik saygısı, atılgan davranış, empatik becerilerine olumlu etkilerinin saptanması nedeniyle, hemşire eğiticilere ve bu alanda çalışabilecek araştırmacılara uygun önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

vu ABSTRACT Özdağ, Ş., Outcomes of psychodrama groups on school of nursing students' self esteem, assertive behaviours, empathetic tendencies and empathetic skills, Hacettepe Univesity Health Sciences Institute PhD Thesis in Psychiatric Nursing, Ankara, 1999. This experimental study has been done among the sophomores of Dokuz Eylül University School of Nursing. The aim of this study is to examine the outcomes of psychdrama groups on students' self esteem, assertive behaviours, empathetic tendencies and empathetic skills. A sum of 36 students have been chosen for the sampling group, 18 as experimential group and 18 as the control group. İn the first week of first semester in 1997- 1998, Students were given Student information Form, Rosenberg's Self Esteem Scale, College Self Evaluation Scale, Empathetic Tendencies and Empathetic Skills Scale. While compossing and cross checking the experimential and the control groups, the criterion based on was student's levels of self esteem, assertive behaviours, empathetic tendencies and empathetic skills. After the groups were composed, once every week two weeks totally 14 psychodrama sessions, two hours each, were held throughout the whole year. İn order to examine the efficiency of psychodrama groups, the students in the experimential and control groups were asked to fill at the end of the first and second semester and the results were cross checked. The data gathered was analyzed in computer with SPSS programme. The data analysis were done with Man Witney U Test, Wilcoxon's Test, Friedman Test. By the end of the psychodrama sessions held with the testing group, the levels of self esteem and assertive behaviours was found negligible. On the other hand, the statistical analysis within the experimental group itself were regarded to be meaningful. İt was discovered that during the research period the levels of empathetic skills of the experimential group had increased. This difference was regarded meaningful when the results of the experimential gruop were compared with the results of the control group. İn the evaluation of the changes in empathetic tendencies, it was found out that 14 psychodrama sessions was not efficient enough to increase the empathetic tendencies of the students.vm Consequently, this study has indicated that psychodrama groups have positive outcomes on school of nursing students' self esteem, assertive behaviours, empathetic skills. Therefore nursing educators and researchers are given advices.
