Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında Sovyetler Birliği düzeninden bağımsız olan Türk devleti Özbekistan'ın bağımsızlık süreciyle beraber ulus devlet inşası ve buna yön veren faktörler incelenmiştir. Tez çalışmasının birinci bölümünde öncelikle“ulus”kavramı ele alınmış,“ulusçuluk”ve“ulus devlet”anlayışının ortaya çıkışından bahsedilmiştir. Daha sonra bunları açıklayan teorilerin kökenleri ve nasıl oluştukları üzerinde durulmuştur. Milliyetçilik düşüncesinin nasıl, nerede ve ne şekilde ortaya çıkıp geliştiği açıklanmıştır. Milliyetçiliğin Türk Dünyasına nasıl girdiği ve geliştiği, tez çalışmasına konu olan Özbekler üzerindeki etkisi ve gelişimi incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın ikinci bölümünde Özbek ulus bilincinin anlaşılabilmesi için Özbeklerin tarihi serüveni, ulusal gelişimi ve bugünkü Özbekistan topraklarına göç ve yerleşimi işlenmiştir. Özbek ulus oluşumunun anlaşılabilmesi için Özbekistan toprakları üzerindeki Türk devletleri de araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmanın son bölümünde Sovyetler Birliği'nden bağımsız olan Özbekistan Cumhuriyeti'nin ulus devlet politikaları incelenmiştir. Özbekistan'ın kurucu lideri İslam Kerimov dönemindeki buna dair uygulamalarla beraber onun ölümünden sonra başa geçen Şevket Mirziyoyev'in bu alandaki icraatları da işlenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda işlenen pek fazla eser olmadığı için konuya dair bilimsel çalışmalardan yola çıkılarak belli bir portre ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada Özbek ulus inşasının daha iyi anlaşılabilmesi için Özbekistan toprakları üzerindeki Türk varlığı ve Türk tarihi incelenmiştir. Özbek ulusal sürecine etki eden tarihi faktörlerin yanında jeostratejik konum faktörü, iç ve dış faktörler, Özbekistan Cumhuriyeti'nin kurulduğu dönemin sosyal ve siyasi koşulları da çalışma kapsamına dahil edilmiştir.

In this thesis, the nation-state building of Uzbekistan, which is independent from the Soviet Union, and the factors that shape it are examined. In the first part of the thesis, firstly, the concept of“nation”was discussed, the emergence of the understanding of“nationalism”and“nation-state”was mentioned. Then, the origins of the theories explaining the mand how they were formed. How, where and how the idea of nationalism emerged and developed was explained. How nationalism entered and developed in the Turkish World, its impact and development on the Uzbeks, who were the subject of the thesis, were examined. In the second part of there search, the historical adventure of the Uzbeks, their national development and their migration and settlement to the territory of today's Uzbekistan are discussed in order to understand the Uzbek national consciousness. In order to understand the formation of the Uzbek nation, the Turkish states on the territory of Uzbekistan were also included in the research. In the last part of there search, the nation-state policies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which was in dependent from the Soviet Union, were examined. The practices in the period of Islam Karimov, the founding leader of Uzbekistan, were examined. The actions of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who came to power after his death, in this area are also covered. Since there are not many Works processed in this direction, a certain portrait has been tried to be put forward based on scientific studies on the subject. In the study, the Turkish presence and Turkish history on the territory of Uzbekistan were examined in order to better understand the Uzbek nation building. In addition to the historical factors affecting the Uzbek national process, the geostrategic location factor, internal and external factors, and the social and political conditions of the period when the Republic of Uzbekistan was established are also included in thescope of the study.
