Özet

ÖZET Bu araştırmada, iletişim becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik bilgi verici danışmanlık programının, gençlerin, baba- genç çatışma düzeyleri ve çatışma eğilim düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Ayrıca gençlere verilen bu programın dolaylı olarak, babalarının çatışma eğilim düzeyleri üzerinde etkisi olup olmadığı incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın denekleri, M. E. R. Anadolu Lisesi üçüncü sınıfta okuyan öğrenciler ve onların babalarıdır. Araştırmada önce lise üçüncü sınıfta okuyan 143 öğrenciye GAÇE-B formu (Genç Anababa Çatışma Envanteri Baba Formu) uygulanmış ve sonuçların aritmetik ortalaması alınarak, X= 88 bulunmuştur. Ortalamanın üzerinde puan olan öğrenciler, arasından tesadüfi seçimle 20 kişilik deney, 20 kişilik kontrol grubu oluşturulmuştur. Deney grubunda ve kontrol grubunda 1 Ter kız ve 9'ar erkek öğrenci bulunmaktaydı. Oluşturulan bu gruplara ve babalarına çatışma eğilim düzeyi belirleme envanteri de uygulanmıştır. Ardından deney grubunda bulunan gençlerle, iletişim becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik bilgi verici danışmanlık programı uygulanmıştır. Programda empati, iletişim becerileri ve çatışma çözme yöntemleri hakkında bilgi verilmiş, rol oynama, rol değiştirme, model olma, tartışma gibi yöntemler kullanılarak iletişim becerileri geliştirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Aynı süre içinde kontrol grubuyla hiç bir işlem yapılmamıştır. 106Deney grubuyla uygulanan program bittikten bir hafta sonra aynı ölçekler araştırma grubuna son test olarak tekrar verilmiştir. Deney ve kontrol gruplarının ön test ve son test ölçümlerinden elde ettikleri puanlara split plot desene uygun tekrarlanmış ölçümler için çift yönlü varyans analizi uygulanmış, analizlerin sonucunda, gençlere uygulanan iletişim becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik bilgi verici danışmanlık programının geçlerin, baba- genç çatışma düzeyleri ve çatışma eğilim düzeyleri üzerinde olumlu etkisi olduğu bulunmuştur. Ancak, gençlerle yapılan bu çalışmanın, babalarının çatışma eğilim düzeyleri üzerinde etkisi olmadığı görülmüştür. 107

SUMMARY In this research, it has being founded out that the effects upon the counselling programme which is regarded to give information for developing the communication skills and also the conflict levels between the father and the youth with, boht yought and their fathers of conflict inclination levels. The subjects of the research were third class students of M. E. R. Anatolia High School and their parents. Before the research, a practice was held (upon the conflict between the father and the youth) on 143 students who were high school studens and an aritmatic average was taken from the results. It has being founded out that X is equal to 88. An experimental group of 20 and a control group of 20 students have been made by a random choice of the ones who have got higher points than the average. There were 1 1 girl and 9 boy students in both groups. In the groups formed and to the fathers, a practice of the determination of conflict level has being done. Afterwards, the youth who were in the research group, a counselling programme based on giving information to develop the communication skills was held. In the programme, it was tried to develop the communication skills by using methods such as empathy, role playing, role changing, to be a model, discussion and to give information about the solution methods for conflict and communication skills. At the same time, no procedure was done to the control group. After a week later when the programme finished, the same measures were given again to the research group as the final test. 108On a split plot design, the points which the research and control groups got from the pre - test and final test measures, a double- sided variance analysis was practiced in approciate repeated measures, by the end of the analysis, it has been founded out that the counselling programme which was based on trying to give information to develop the communication skills which were practiced on the youth, had a possitive effect on the conflict levels and youth. But, this research done to the youth, founded out that the fathers had no effect upon the conflict inclination levels. 109
