Özet
Bu çalışmada Türkiye'de turizm sektöründen elde edilen gelirler ve bu gelirlerin makroekonomik göstergeler üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Bireylerin yaşamlarını sürdürdükleri bölgeden başka bir bölgeye seyahat etmeleri, gitmiş oldukları yerlerde turizm tesislerinden mal ve hizmet satın almaları, konaklamaları geniş anlamda turizmi ifade etmektedir. Turizm, devamlı olarak gelişen ve büyüyen bir sektör olmakla birlikte, teknoloji sayesinde daha da hızlanmıştır. Türkiye, turizm için jeopolitik konumu, tarihi, kültürü vb. birçok özelliğinden kaynaklı olarak oldukça elverişli bir ülke olmaktadır. Dünya çapındaki tüm ülkeler için turizm ekonomik anlamda oldukça önem teşkil etmektedir. Aynı zamanda en hızlı büyüyen sektörler arasında yer almaktadır. Turizm birçok farklı sektörle ilişkili olmaktadır. Seyahat acenteleri, konaklama işletmeleri, ulaşım firmaları ve yeme-içme işletmeleri turizmden etkilenmektedir. Turistlerin seyahatleri esnasında yapmış oldukları harcamalar sayesinde ülkeye döviz girişi sağlanmaktadır. Bu ödemeler dengesi için oldukça önem teşkil etmektedir. Turizm birçok iş olanağı sağladığından kaynaklı olarak, istihdam ve ülke ekonomisi için önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu araştırmada makroekonomik göstergeler olan; GSYİH, istihdam ve işsizlik, enflasyon, döviz kuru, faiz oranı, dış ticaret ve ödemeler bilançosunun turizm sektörü ile arasındaki ilişki değerlendirilmiştir.

In this study, the incomes obtained from the tourism sector in Turkey and the effects of these incomes on macroeconomic indicators were examined. Traveling to another region from the region where individuals live, purchasing goods and services from tourism facilities in the places they have been to, and accommodation refers to tourism in a broad sense. Although tourism is a constantly developing and growing sector, it has accelerated thanks to technology. Turkey, for tourism geopolitical location, history, culture, etc. It is a very favorable country due to its many features. Tourism is of great economic importance for all countries around the world. It is also among the fastest growing sectors. Tourism is associated with many different sectors. Travel agencies, accommodation businesses, transportation companies and catering businesses are affected by tourism. Thanks to the expenditures made by the tourists during their travels, foreign currency inflows are provided to the country. This is very important for the balance of payments. Since tourism provides many job opportunities, it has an important place for employment and the country's economy. In this research, the macroeconomic indicators; The relationship between GDP, employment and unemployment, inflation, exchange rate, interest rate, foreign trade and balance of payments with the tourism sector has been evaluated.
