Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı Jacques Rancière'in eserlerinde estetik ve politikanın tanımının ve ikisi arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu araştırma, Rancière'in duyulurun paylaşımı olarak belirttiği apaçık gerçekliklerden oluşan yapıya yönelik ilavelerin ve ihlallerin ortaya çıkardığı yeni olanaklılıkların sahnelenişini belirginleştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Rancière, sanatın 19. yüzyılda ortaya çıkan 'Estetik Rejim' ile olanaklı olduğunu söyler. Bu bakımdan estetik, duyulur olanın paylaşımının yeni bir tarzı ve sanatı tanımlamaya yönelik özgül bir rejim olarak karşımıza çıkar. Politika ise, iktidarın uygulanması ve iktidar için mücadele olarak değil, özgül bir mekânın konfigürasyonu olarak karşımıza çıkar. Rancière'e göre estetik ve politika çok önemli ortak bir yöne sahiptirler: Polis düzeni içerisinde görülür olanın ve olmayanın, işitilir olanın ve olmayanın, düşünülür olanın ve olmayanın, mümkün olanın ve olmayanın sınırlarının belirlenmesi. Rancière, estetiğin politikayla buluştuğu noktayı ve bunlar arasındaki birlikteliği Marxist geleneğin, Frankfurt okulunun ve postmodernistlerin son dönem çalışmaları dışında bir yaklaşımla araştırmış ve sanatla politikanın, duyulur olanın birer paylaştırma tarzı olduğunu belirtmiştir. Bu bakımdan, estetik rejimdeki sanatın politikası, nesneleri tahakküme özgü algılama tarzından farklı bir algılama tarzına ait nesneler olarak tanımlar ve böylece sanatla sanat-olmayan arasındaki sınırları kaldırır.

The purpose of this research is to examine the definitions of and the relationship between aesthetics and politics in the works of Jacques Rancière. This research aims at clarifying the presentation of the new possibilities created by additions to and violations of the structure consisting of self-evident facts, which Rancière terms as the distribution of the sensible. Rancière asserts that art becomes possible through the“Aesthetic Regime”that emerged in the 19th century. From this perspective, aesthetic is embodied in a specific regime towards defining art, as a new manner of the distribution of the sensible. Politics, however, emerges as the configuration of a particular space, rather than being an enforcement of power or a power struggle. According to Rancière, aesthetics and politics share a critical aspect: within the police order, they both define the boundaries of what is visible and invisible, audible and inaudible, intelligible and unintelligible, possible and impossible. Rancière studied the meeting ground of aesthetics and politics and their association by adopting an approach outside the Marxist tradition, the Frankfurt school and the recent works of postmodernists, arguing that art and politics are the means of the distribution of the sensible. In this context, the politics of art within the aesthetic regime describe the objects as those objects pertaining to a manner of perception that is different from the predominant manner of perception of objects, and therefore removes the boundaries between the artistic and non-artistic.
