Özet
Bu araştırma bir ortaokul matematik öğretmeninin derslerinde tarihi film veya video uygulamalarından yansımaların belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden aksiyon araştırması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın pilot çalışması, 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Esenler ilçesinde bir kız anadolu imam hatip lisesi 7. sınıfta öğrenim gören 20 kız öğrenci ile asıl uygulaması ise 2021-2022 yılı içerisinde aynı okulun farklı bir 7. sınıfında öğrenim gören 20 kız öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplamak amacıyla gözlem metodu ile birlikte öğretmen, öğrenci günlükleri ve mülakatlar kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada 'Matematik Hikâyeleri' adlı programın kazanımlar ile bağdaştırılan 7 farklı bölümü öğrencilere izletilmiş ve bu bölümlere ait uygulama kağıtları hazırlanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, alt problemlere ait bölümlerde kategori ve kodlar oluşturularak verilmiştir. Çalışma sonunda öğrencilerde en fazla ortaya çıkan duyuşsal özelliğin dersten zevk alma; bilişsel özelliğin yeni bilgiler öğrenmeyi sağlama; psikomotor özelliğin çizim yapmayı sağlama olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğretmen-öğrenci etkileşiminde elde edilen en önemli bulgu eğlenceli anlar yaşama; öğrenci-öğrenci etkileşiminde ise akran motivasyonunu artırma şeklindedir. Öğretmen rolü senaryocu; öğrenciler de ise eleştirmen/yorumcu rolleri ortaya çıkmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda ortaya çıkan bulgular ile birlikte matematik dersinde kullanılan tarihi film veya video temelli uygulamaların öğrencileri olumlu şekilde etkilediği ortaya çıkmıştır.

This research was conducted to determine the reflections of a middle school mathematics teacher on historical film or video applications in her lessons. Action research method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. The pilot study of the study was conducted with 20 female students studying in the 7th grade of a girls' anadolu imam hatip high school in Esenler district of Istanbul in the 2020-2021 academic year, and the actual implementation of the study was carried out with 20 female students studying in a different 7th grade of the same school in 2021-2022. In addition to the observation method, teacher and student diaries and interviews were used to collect data. In the study, 7 different episodes of the 'Mathematics Stories' program, which were associated with the learning outcomes, were shown to the students and application papers were prepared for these episodes. The data obtained were given by creating categories and codes in the sections belonging to the sub-problems. At the end of the study, it was determined that the affective characteristic that emerged most in the students was enjoying the lesson; the cognitive characteristic was learning new information; and the psychomotor characteristic was drawing. The most important finding obtained in teacher-student interaction was to have fun moments; in student-student interaction, it was to increase peer motivation. The role of the teacher as a scenario maker and the role of the students as a critic/commentator emerged. With the findings of the study, it was revealed that historical film or video-based applications used in mathematics lessons positively affected students.
