Özet
Bu çalışma, G. Vico, W. Dilthey ve J. Ortega y Gasset'in felsefelerinde tarih sorununu ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda Vico, tarihi açıklarken kendinden önce ortaya konulan tarih anlayışlarının yetersizliğinden bahseder. Vico, tarih felsefesi yaparken insanın, tarihsel ve toplumsal bir varlık olduğunu dile getirmiştir. O, tarihi açıklarken insanın merkezde olduğu bir yöntemi kullanarak sadece tarih felsefesi yapmamış aynı zamanda toplum felsefesi ve kültür bilimlerinin temelini atmıştır. Dilthey ise tarihi açıklarken Vico'ya benzer şekilde kendisinden önceki tarih anlayışlarının yetersizliğine dikkat çekmektedir. Dilthey, tarihi; tinsel, toplumsal ve insanın psikolojik yönünün etkin olduğu bütünsel bir alan olarak tanımlamıştır. O, tarih anlayışını temellendirirken tin bilimleri ile doğa bilimleri arasında ayrım yaparak kendi tarih felsefesini ortaya koymaya çalışmaktadır. Dilthey, tarihi açıklarken insanın tarihin merkezinde olduğunu ve tarihin insanla anlam kazandığını ifade etmektedir. Ortega y Gasset ise tarihi açıklarken Dilthey'den etkilenmiştir. Ortega'da tarihi açıklarken kendisinden önce yapılan açıklamaların yetersiz olduğunu dile getirmektedir ve tarihi açıklarken insanın merkezde olduğu bir yaklaşımı benimsemektedir. O da tarih felsefesi yaparken insanın, toplumsal ve kültürel yönüyle tarih içerisinde yer aldığını dile getirmektedir. O, insanın doğası yoktur, tarihi vardır sözüyle tarihi, insan yaşamının bütünsel yönüyle ele almamız gerektiğini söylemektedir.

This study aims to reveal the problem of history in the philosophies of G. Vico, W. Dilthey and J. Ortega y Gasset. In this context, while explaining history, Vico mentions the inadequacy of the historical understandings put forward before him. While doing philosophy of history, Vico stated that human beings are historical and social beings. By using a human-centered method when explaining history, he not only made philosophy of history but also laid the foundations of social philosophy and cultural sciences. While explaining history, Dilthey, similar to Vico, draws attention to the inadequacy of previous understandings of history. Dilthey defined history as a holistic area where spiritual, social and human psychological aspects are active. While grounding his understanding of history, he tries to reveal his philosophy of history by making a distinction between spiritual sciences and natural sciences. While explaining history, Dilthey states that humans are at the center of history and that history gains meaning through humans. Ortega y Gasset was influenced by Dilthey when explaining history. While explaining history, Ortega also states that the explanations made before him are insufficient and he adopts an approach where people are at the center when explaining history. While doing philosophy of history, he also states that human beings take part in history with their social and cultural aspects. With the statement that man has no nature, he has history, he says that we should consider history from the holistic aspect of human life.
