Özet
Son yıllarda iklim değişikliği ve küresel ısınmanın önlenmesine yönelik çalışmalar sürdürülebilir kavramını, günümüzün önemli bir kavramı haline getirmiştir. Üniversiteler; barındırdıkları insan toplulukları ile küresel iklim değişikliği hususunda önemli bir kaynak olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. UI GreenMetrik, kampüslerin sürdürülebilirliğini değerlendirmek ve karşılaştırmak amacıyla 2010 Yılında Endonezya tarafından geliştirilen bir üniversite sıralama yöntemidir. UI GreenMetrik sıralama sisteminin yapısı, ana çevresel yönleri temsil eden (Enerji ve İklim, Ulaşım, Atık, Eğitim ve Araştırma, Yapı ve Altyapı ve Su) 6 ana kategoriden meydana gelmektedir. UI Grenetrik 10.000 puan üzerinden değerlendirilmektedir. UI GreenMetrik hesaplama yönteminde her kategori belirli göstergelerle değerlendirilmekte olup her bir gösterge etkisine bağlı olarak puanlandırılmaktadır. Göstergelerin belirtilen şartlara uygunluğu istatistiksel olarak değerlendirilmekte olup uygunluk etki değerine göre bir katsayı ile çarpılarak sonuç puanı elde edilmektedir. Bu çalışmada; UI GreenMetrik metodu kullanılarak Harran Üniversitesi Osmanbey Yerleşkesinin UI GreenMetrik sistemine göre puanı ve derecesi belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla; 6 ana başlığı olan Yapı ve Altyapı, Enerji ve İklim Değişikliği, Atık, Su, Ulaşım, Eğitim ve Araştırma kategorilerine ait 51 kriter ile detaylı olarak incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda; 6 kategori ait 51 kriterden 30 tanesinden puan elde edilmiş olup Ulaşım, Yapı ve Altyapı, Enerji ve İklim Değişikliği, Su, Atık ve Eğitim ve Araştırma kategorilerinden sırasıyla 1.075 – 975 – 800 – 400 – 375 ve 325 olmak üzere toplam 3.950 puan elde edilmiştir. Osmanbey Kampüsü 2023 yılı itibariyle Dünya sıralamasında 944. ve Türkiye sıralamasında 86. sırada yer bulmuştur.

In recent years, efforts to prevent climate change and global warming have made the concept of sustainable an important concept of today. Universities; With the human communities they host, they appear as an important source of global climate change. UI GreenMetric is a university ranking method developed by Indonesia in 2010 to evaluate and compare the sustainability of campuses. The structure of the UI GreenMetric ranking system consists of 6 main categories representing the main environmental aspects (Energy and Climate, Transport, Waste, Education and Research, Building and Infrastructure and Water). UI Grenmetric is evaluated out of 10.000 points. In the UI GreenMetric calculation method, each category is evaluated with certain indicators and each indicator is scored depending on its effect. The compliance of the indicators with the specified conditions is evaluated statistically and the result score is obtained by multiplying it with a coefficient according to the suitability impact value. In this study; Using the UI GreenMetric method, the score and degree of Harran University Osmanbey Campus according to the UI GreenMetric system was tried to be determined. To this end; It has been tried to be examined in detail with 51 criteria belonging to 6 main headings: Structure and Infrastructure, Energy and Climate Change, Waste, Water, Transportation, Education and Research. In the results of working; Points were obtained from 30 of 51 criteria belonging to 6 categories, and a total of 3.950 points were obtained from the categories of Transportation, Structure and Infrastructure, Energy and Climate Change, Water, Waste and Education and Research, respectively: 1,075 - 975 - 800 - 400 - 375 and 325. As of 2023, Osmanbey Campus ranked 944th in the World and 86th in Türkiye.
