Özet
Osmanlı Hürriyet Cemiyeti 1906 yılında kurulup bir yıl sonra 27 Eylül 1907 tarihinde Paris merkezli Osmanlı Terakki ve İttihat Cemiyeti'yle birleşmiştir. Osmanlı Hürriyet Cemiyeti II. Abdülhamit yönetimine karşı anayasal monarşi hedefiyle mücadele etmiştir. Bu cemiyet Osmanlı Terakki ve İttihat Cemiyeti'yle birleşerek bu ismi benimsemesinin ardından ise hedefinde başarıya ulaşarak Türkiye'nin yakın tarihini etkilemiş bir siyasi örgüttür. Tezde 23 Temmuz 1908'de gerçekleşen II. Meşrutiyetin İlanında önemli rol oynayan bu cemiyetin örgütsel yapısı ve faaliyetleri incelenmiştir. Osmanlı Hürriyet Cemiyeti'nin siyasi hedefleri, örgütsel yapısı ve faaliyetleri 1889'dan 1908'e dek süren Jön Türk hareketi içerisinde değerlendirilmiştir. Cemiyetin, Jön Türk hareketiyle bağlantıları ele alınmış, süreklilik ve kopuş süreçleri değerlendirilmiştir. Tezin hazırlanışında Osmanlı Terakki ve İttihat Cemiyeti Paris Merkezi'nin Kopya Defterleri'nin çevrim yazılarından ve Bahattin Şakir Bey'in bıraktığı vesikalardan yararlanılmıştır. Belge niteliğinde olan anılardan, mektuplardan ve bilimsel eserlerden yararlanılmıştır. Konuyla ilgili geniş literatür taranarak Osmanlı Hürriyet Cemiyeti'ne ait özgünlüklerin tespit edilmesi denenirken cemiyetin Jön Türk hareketiyle birleştiği ve ayrıştığı noktalar ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır.

The Ottoman Freedom Committee was established in 1906 and merged with the Paris-based Ottoman Society of Progress and Union a year later on September 27, 1907. Ottoman Freedom Society II. He fought against the rule of Abdulhamid with the aim of constitutional monarchy. This society is a political organization that has influenced the recent history of Turkey by achieving success in its goal after adopting this name by merging with the Ottoman Progress and Committee of Union. In the thesis, World War II took place on July 23, 1908. The organizational structure and activities of this society, which played an important role in the Declaration of the Constitutional Monarchy, were examined. The political goals, organizational structure and activities of the Ottoman Freedom Society were evaluated within the Young Turk movement that lasted from 1889 to 1908. The association's connections with the Young Turk movement were discussed and the processes of continuity and rupture were evaluated. In the preparation of the thesis, the transcriptions of the Copy Books of the Ottoman Society of Progress and Union Paris Center and the documents left by Bahattin Şakir Bey were used. Documentary memories, letters and scientific works were used. While trying to identify the originalities of the Ottoman Freedom Society by scanning the extensive literature on the subject, the points where the society unites and differs from the Young Turk movement have been tried to be revealed.
