Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, 9. sınıf seviyesinde tekrar testleri kitaplarındaki matematik sorularının matematik okuryazarlığı ölçme yeterlilik düzeyleri, matematiksel süreçler, içerik alanları ve genel içerik alanları bağlamında incelenmesidir. Detaylı bir inceleme gerektirdiğinden nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında incelenen veri toplama araçları, Ölçme, Değerlendirme ve Sınav Hizmetleri Genel Müdürlüğünün sitesinde e-kitap formatındaki 9. sınıf tekrar testleri 1, 9. sınıf tekrar testleri 2 ve 9. sınıf tekrar testleri 3 olmak üzere toplam üç tane kitaptan oluşmaktadır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Kitaplardaki toplam 203 sorunun analizi 2022 yılında yayınlanan PISA matematik okuryazarlığı değerlendirme çerçevesine uygun olacak şekilde yapılmıştır. Bulgular kısmında kitaplarda yeterlilik düzeylerinden altıncı düzeyde soruya yer verilmediği, ağırlıklı olarak ikinci ve üçüncü düzey soruya yer verildiği görülmüştür. Matematik süreçler açısından en çok matematiksel kavram, olgu ve süreçleri kullanma gerektiren, içerik alanlarına göre en çok çokluk, genel içerik alanları içerisinde ise bilimsel bağlamda soruya yer verilmiştir. Bu bulgular sonucunda kitaplardaki soruların PISA matematik okuryazarlığındaki gibi eşit dağılım göstermediği ve yeterli düzeyde soruya yer verilmediği ortaya çıkmıştır. Son yıllarda bilgisayar tabanlı değerlendirmelerin söz konusu olduğu bu tür izleme çalışmalarında öğrencilerin faydalanabileceği çoktan seçmeli test kitaplarının yerine açık uçlu soruların, çoklu seçmeli soruların ve bilgisayar simülasyonları içeren dijital formlarda destek materyallerin oluşturulması gerektiği önerilmiştir.

The purpose of this study is to examine the mathematics literacy measurement competencies of mathematics questions in the repeat test books at the 9th grade level, in the contexts of mathematical processes, content areas, and general content areas. Due to the need for detailed examination, the qualitative research method of document analysis has been employed. The data collection tools examined within the scope of the study consist of three books: 9th Grade Repeat Tests 1, 9th Grade Repeat Tests 2, and 9th Grade Repeat Tests 3, in e-book format on the Measurement, Evaluation, and Examination Services General Directorate's website. Descriptive analysis was used in the data analysis. The analysis of a total of 203 questions in the books was conducted to align with the PISA mathematical literacy assessment framework published in 2022. In the findings section, it was observed that the books do not include questions at the proficiency level six, predominantly featuring questions at levels two and three. From the perspective of mathematical processes, the questions mostly require the use of mathematical concepts, facts, and processes; by content area, there is a predominance of quantity-related questions, and within general content areas, questions are predominantly situated in scientific contexts. As a result of these findings, it emerged that the questions in the books do not exhibit an equal distribution as seen in PISA mathematical literacy, and there is insufficient coverage of questions at an adequate level. In recent years, with the advent of computer-based assessments, it is suggested that in such monitoring studies, instead of multiple-choice test books that students can benefit from, there should be the creation of supporting materials in digital formats that include open-ended questions, multiple-choice questions, and computer simulations.
