Sayfa 77 Kur'an-ı Kerim'de Geçen Coğrafi Olaylar İle İlgili Ayetlerin Günümüz Coğrafi Bilgileri İle Karşılaştırılması konulu bu araştırmamızı 3 bölüm halinde incelemeye çalıştık. Araştırmamızın birinci bölümünde Matematik Coğrafya ile ilgili konular başlığı altında evreni, evrenin yaratılışını, yaratılışın süresini, yine evrenin bir parçası olan güneş ve çeşitli gök cisimlerini hem Kur'an-ı Kerim hem de ilim açısından yorumlamayı amaçladık. Yine birinci bölümümüz de dünyamızın şekli, bu şeklinin sonucunda kazandığı özellikler ve bunların sistemli bir şekilde nasıl işlediği belirtilmiştir. Çalışmamızın ikinci bölümünde Coğrafya ile ilgili konuları toparlamaya çalıştık. Burada yüzey şekilleri ve bunların özellikleri iklim ve iklimin etkileri anlatılmıştır. Tüm canlıların yaşama ortamı olan dünyamızın birtakım fiziki özellikleri, ayrıca canlı hayatının kaynağı olan sular ve onlardan faydalanma hakkında bilgiler vermeye çalıştık. Üçüncü bölümde ise ekolojik dengenin bozulmasına bağlı olarak meydana gelen çevre sorunlarını, çevrenin hızlı bir şekilde tahrip edilmesi sonucunda insanlar için nasıl bir tehlike oluşturduğu araştırmamız içinde doğal afetler başlığı altında toplamayı uygun gördük.

ABSTRACT Masters Thesis Meral UÇAR THE COMPARİSİON WİTH GEOGRAPHİCAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE VERSEL OF GEOGRAPHICAL EVENTS WHiCH ARE WRITTEN IN THE KURAN Fırat University Institute of Social Sciences Geographical of History 1999.Page77 I tried to study the exploration about the comparision with geographical knowledge of the Verses of Georaphical events which are written in the Kuran in three main sections. In the first section under the title of mathematics Geography I tried to interpret the Universe, the creation of the creation, the sun and several sky substances both according to the Kuran and the science. Again in the first section the shape of the world and the peculiarities it gained by the end of this shape and how they work systematically have been determined. In the second section of the study I tried to gather the subjects about the geography. In this section the surface structures and peculiarites of them and the effect of the climate have been explained. Some physical peculiarities of the world which has a common surroundings for all the creatures and the waters which are sources of the living things and how to benefit from them have been told in this section. In the third section the environment problems based on the spoil of the ecologic balance, and the swift destruction of the environment and how the spoil and swift destruction effected the people have been explained under the title of the natural disasters.
