Özet
Re'y kelimesi fıkıhta görüş belirtmek anlamına gelmektedir. Ehl-i Re'y ise rey sahibi kimseler anlamına gelmektedir. Ehl-i Re'y, bir başka ifade ile Ashabu'r-Re'y Hicrî II. Asırda İslam Medeniyeti içerisinde neşet etmiş Irak/Kûfe fıkıh geleneğine verilen özel bir isimlendirmedir. Bu yaklaşımın mensupları kitap ve sünnetin yanı sıra kıyas ve re'yi de başvuru mercilerinden saymıştır. Ayrıca meseleler arasında bağlantı kurma, illet araştırma, kıyâsı âhad habere önceleme ve farazî meseleler hakkında düşünme gibi bir takım uygulamalara da başvurdukları zikredilmiştir. Ehl-i Hadis ekolünün karşısında bulunan Ehl-i Re'y ekolü tarih boyunca fıkıh ve kelam ilmi ile irtibatlandırılsa da Ehl-i Re'y ile aslında fıkıhçılar özelde de Hanefîler kast edilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın birinci bölümünde Ehl-i Re'y ekolünün tarihi serüveni ele alınmakta, ikinci bölümünde ise bu yaklaşım ile ilişkilendirilen Hanefî mezhebine mensubiyetleri ile meşhur olmuş aynı zamanda muhaddis olma vasfına sahip olan âlimler incelenmektedir. Bu bağlamda Hanefî hadisçileri tespit edip onların hadis ve fıkıh ilimleri çerçevesinde değerlendirmelerine yer verilmekte, sonuç bölümünde ise genel çıkarımlar aktarılmaktadır.

The term ra'y means expressing an opinion in fiqh. Ehl-i Re'y, on the other hand, refers to those who hold opinions. Ehl-i Re'y, in other words, Ashabu'r-Ra'y, is a specific name given to the fiqh tradition that emerged within the Islamic Civilization in the second century Hijri in Iraq/Kufa. The members of this school have considered analogy (qiyas) and ra'y, in addition to the book (Quran) and the Sunnah, as sources of reference. It is also mentioned that they applied a number of practices such as establishing connections between issues, investigating causes (illat), prioritizing analogy over solitary reports (ahad), and contemplating hypothetical issues. Although the Ehl-i Re'y school, which stood in opposition to the Ehl-i Hadith school, has been historically associated with fiqh and kalam sciences, the term Ehl-i Re'y actually refers to jurists, specifically Hanafis. The first chapter of this study addresses the historical journey of the Ehl-i Re'y school, while the second chapter examines the scholars who are famous for their affiliation with the Hanafi school, which is associated with this school, and who also possess the quality of being muhaddiths. In this context, Hanafi hadith scholars are identified, and their evaluations within the framework of hadith and fiqh sciences are included. In the conclusion, general inferences are presented.
