Özet
Yirmi birinci yüzyıl teknolojik gelişmelerin hızla ilerlediği, bilgiye ulaşmanın kolaylaştığı ve küreselleşme etkilerinin belirgin hâle geldiği bir çağdır. Yirmi birinci yüzyılda bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerindeki değişimler toplumun yapısını, bireylerin hayatını önemli ölçüde değiştirmiştir. Bu çağda hızla değişen koşullara uyum sağlamak için çeşitli stratejilere, yöntemlere, tekniklere ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Soru sormanın bu stratejiler, yöntemler ve teknikler içinde önemli bir yeri vardır. Soru sorma; bir şiire, bir şarkıya, bir filme ulaşma, bir araştırma için yeni bir yön bulma yeteneğidir. Soru sormak, hayatın her noktasında yer edinen temel bir eylemdir. Sorular bir konuya ilgiyi artırmak, dikkat çekmek, öğrenmeyi verimli hâle getirmek, anlam evrenini geliştirmek, düşünceleri ve duyguları ifade etmek gibi birçok amaç için kullanılmaktadır. Dolayısıyla bu temel becerinin geliştirilmesi sonucu zengin bir öğrenme deneyimi ve etkili iletişim anlayışı meydana getirilebilir. Temeli metinlere dayanan Türkçe dersleri soru sorma becerisinin farkındalığına ve gelişimine uygun bir zemin sunmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı metin işleme sürecinde 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin soru sorma becerisinin gelişimine destek olmak ve gelişim durumunu tespit etmektir. Araştırma, pragmatik paradigma esas alınarak nitel araştırma yöntemi desenlerinden eylem araştırmasıyla tasarlanmış ve gerçekleştirilmiştir. Eylem araştırması süreci Kayseri'nin Akkışla ilçesinde bir devlet okulunun 6. sınıf düzeyinde yedi kız, on bir erkek olmak üzere toplam on sekiz katılımcı ile 8 hafta sürmüştür. Araştırmada gözlemler, görüşmeler, araştırmacı günlükleri, ses kayıtları ve dokümanlar veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama araçlarından elde edilen veriler içerik analizi kullanılarak incelenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin soru sorma becerilerinin geliştiği, üstbilişsel becerileri harekete geçirecek sorular üretebildikleri, bilişsel ve duyuşsal açıdan soru sorma alışkanlığı ve farkındalığı kazandıkları tespit edilmiştir.

The twenty-first century is an era in which technological developments are advancing rapidly, the access to information has become easier, and the effects of globalization have become evident. In this century, shifts in information and communication technologies have significantly changed the structure of society and the lives of individuals. It requires various strategies, methods, and techniques to adapt to rapidly changing conditions in this era. Asking questions has an important place in these strategies, methods, and techniques. Questioning is the ability to access a poem, a song, a movie, to find a new direction for a research. Asking questions is a fundamental action that takes place in every point of life. Questions are used for many purposes such as increasing interest in a subject, attracting attention, making learning efficient, developing the universe of meaning, expressing thoughts and feelings. Hence, the development of this basic skill can lead to a rich learning experience and an understanding of effective communication. Turkish lessons based on texts, offer a suitable ground for the awareness and development of the ability to ask questions. The research aims to contribute to the development of 6th grade students' question-asking skills during the text-processing process and to determine the development status. The research was conducted based on the pragmatic paradigm and designed and conducted with action research, one of the qualitative research method designs. The action research process lasted for 8 weeks with eighteen participants consisting of seven girls and eleven boys, at the 6th grade level of a public school in Akkışla district of Kayseri. In the study, observations, interviews, researcher diaries, audio recordings and documents were employed as data collection tools. The data obtained from the data collection tools were analyzed and interpreted by using content analysis. As a result of the research, it was found that students improved their question-asking skills, were able to produce the questions that would activate metacognitive skills, and gained the habit and awareness of asking questions in terms of cognitive and affective aspects.
