Özet
Bu araştırma, ünlü kadın matematikçilerin yaşam öyküleriyle zenginleştirilmiş öğrenme ortamlarında öğrencilerde gözlenen duyuşsal ve bilişsel özellikleri, öğretmen-öğrenci rollerini, öğretmen-öğrenci ve öğrenci-öğrenci etkileşimini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden aksiyon araştırması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma Giresun ili Bulancak ilçesinde öğrenim gören 5. sınıf düzeyindeki 39 öğrenci ile 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılının ikinci döneminde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın verileri yazılı görüş formları, öğretmen-öğrenci günlükleri ve gözlemler aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmada 6 ünlü kadın matematikçinin yaşam öyküsü ile ilgili etkinlikler tasarlanmış ve bu etkinlikler sınıf ortamında uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sürecinde elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ve betimsel analize tabi tutulmuştur. Çalışma sonunda, öğrencilerde en fazla gözlenen duyuşsal özelliğin dersten zevk alma; bilişsel özelliğin ise yeni bilgiler öğrenme olduğu görülmüştür. Etkinlikler sırasında öğrencilerin derse katılımının ve öğretmen-öğrenci, öğrenci-öğrenci etkileşiminin yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada öğretmenin tarih öğretmeni ve rehber rolünün ön plana çıktığı, öğrencilerin ise en çok azimli ve kararlı olma rollerine girdikleri ve kadın matematikçileri rol model aldıkları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonunda çalışmanın sonuçlarına ve ileride yapılabilecek araştırmalara yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

This study was conducted to determine the affective and cognitive characteristics, teacher-student roles, teacher-student and student-student interactions observed in students in learning enviroments enriched with the life stories of famous women mathematicians. Action research method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. The study was conducted with 39 5th grade students studying in Bulancak district of Giresun province in the second semester of the 2021-2022 school year. The data of the study were collected through written interview forms, teacher-student diaries and observations. In the study, activities related to the life stories of 6 famous female mathematicians were designed and these activities were implemented in the classroom environment. The data obtained during the research process were subjected to content analysis and descriptive analysis. At the end of the study, it was observed that the most frequently observed affective characteristic of the students was enjoying the lesson and the cognitive characteristic was learning new information. During the activities, it was determined that students participation in the lesson and teacher-student and student-student interaction were high. In the study, it was concluded that the teacher's role as history teacher and guide came to the forefront, while the students mostly took the role of being determined and took female mathematicians as role models. At the end of the study, suggestions were made for the results of the study and future researches.
