Özet

Amaç: Bu çalışma, Sultanbeyli TRSM'de ayaktan tedavilerine devam eden psikotik bozukluk tanılı hastalara uygulanan“Problem Çözme ve Etkili İletişim Becerileri”psikoeğitim programının, hastaların toplumsal işlevsellik ve benlik saygısı düzeylerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Materyal ve Metod: Çalışma ön test-son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneme modeli şeklinde Sultanbeyli TRSM'de Şubat-Mayıs 2024 tarihleri arasında yürütüldü. Güç analizi sonucunda, kayıplar da göz önünde bulundurularak 45 kişi çalışma grubu ve 80 kişi kontrol grubu için katılımcı olarak belirlendi. Ancak çalışma grubundan 4 kişi seanslara devam etmediği için, kontrol grubundan 2 kişi son test uygulamasına katılmadığı için toplam 119 kişiyle çalışma tamamlandı. Veriler Sosyodemografik bilgi formu, Toplumsal İşlevselliği Değerlendirme Ölçeği (TİDÖ), Rosenberg Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği (RBSÖ), Pozitif Belirtileri Değerlendirme Ölçeği (SAPS) ve Negatif Belirtileri Değerlendirme Ölçeği (SANS) kullanılarak toplandı. Çalışma grubundaki katılımcılara psikoeğitim programı uygulandı, kontrol grubundaki katılımcılara bir girişim yapılmadı. Veri analizinde ortalama, standart sapma, yüzde, bağımlı ve bağımsız örneklemde t-testi, karışık desenli ANOVA kullanıldı. Bulgular: Psikoeğitim uygulamasından sonra çalışma grubunun toplumsal işlevsellik (6.67) ve benlik saygısı puan ortalamasının (3.30), kontrol grubundakilerin toplumsal işlevsellik (6.25) ve benlik saygısı puan ortalamasından (2.95) anlamlı olarak arttığı belirlendi (p<0.05). Aynı zamanda çalışma grubundaki hastaların negatif belirtilerinin, kontrol grubundakilere göre anlamlı ölçüde azaldığı belirlendi (p<0.05). Sonuç:“Problem Çözme ve Etkili İletişim”psikoeğitim programının psikotik bozukluk tanılı hastaların toplumsal işlevsellik ve benlik saygısı düzeylerinin artmasında etkili olduğu ve negatif belirtilerine olumlu anlamda katkı sağladığı belirlendi.

Aim: This study was conducted to determine the effect of the“Problem Solving and Effective Communication Skills”psychoeducation program applied to patients diagnosed with psychotic disorder who continue their outpatient treatment at Sultanbeyli CMHC, on the social functionality and self-esteem levels of the patients. Material and Method: The study was conducted as a quasi-trial model with a pretest-posttest control group at Sultanbeyli TRSM between February and May 2024. As a result of the power analysis, 45 people were determined as participants for the study group and 80 people for the control group, taking into account losses. However, since 4 people from the study group did not attend the sessions and 2 people from the control group did not participate in the post-test application, the study was completed with a total of 119 people. Data were collected using the sociodemographic information form, Social Functioning Assessment Scale (SFAS), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSS), Scale for the Assesment of Positive Symptoms (SAPS), Scale for the Assesment of Negative Symptoms (SANS) and Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS). A psychoeducation program was applied to the participants in the study group, but no intervention was made to the participants in the control group. Mean, standard deviation, percentage, dependent and independent sample t-test, and mixed-design ANOVA were used in data analysis. Results: After the psychoeducation application, it was determined that the social functionality (6.67) and self-esteem mean score (3.30) of the study group increased significantly compared to the social functionality (6.25) and self-esteem mean score (2.95) of the control group (p <0.05). At the same time, it was determined that the negative symptoms of the patients in the study group decreased significantly compared to those in the control group (p <0.05). Conclusion: It was determined that the“Problem Solving and Effective Communication”psychoeducation program was effective in increasing the social functionality and self-esteem levels of patients diagnosed with psychotic disorder and contributed positively to their negative symptoms.
