Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı mentor eğitim programının İstanbul'da bir vakıf üniversitesinde öğrenimini sürdüren üniversite öğrencilerinin kariyer stresi düzeyi üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Deneysel tarama modelindeki araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında, deney grubunda yer alan 15 öğrenci ve kontrol grubunda yer alan 11 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. oluşturmaktadır. Deney grubunda yer alan 15 öğrenciye 33 oturumdan oluşan 'Mentor Eğitim Programı' uygulanmıştır. Kontrol grubunda yer alan 11 öğrenciye ise“Mentor Eğitim Programı”uygulanmamıştır. Katılımcılara Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Kariyer Stresi ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Katılımcılardan elde edilen veriler SPSS 26.0 aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. İstatistiksel analizinde verilerin normal dağılım gösterdiği tespit edilmesine rağmen araştırmadaki katılımcıların 30'dan az olması sebebiyle hipotezlerin test edilmesinde parametrik olmayan Mann-Whitney U testi ve Wilcoxon Sıralı İşaretler testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre deney grubunda yer alan öğrencilerin mentor eğitim programı sonrası kontrol grubu öğrencileri ile aralarında anlamlı bir fark olmadığı saptanmıştır. Ayrıca deney grubu öğrencilerinin kendi içerisinde eğitim öncesi ve sonrası anlamlı bir fark oluşmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

This study aims to examine the effect of a mentor education program on the career stress level of university students studying at a foundation university in Istanbul. The research study group in the experimental screening model consists of 15 students in the experimental group and 11 students in the control group in the 2022-2023 academic year. The 'Mentor Education Program', consisting of 33 sessions, was applied to 15 students in the experimental group. The“Mentor Education Program”was not applied to 11 students in the control group. Personal Information Form and Career Stress Scale were applied to the participants. The data obtained from the participants were analyzed using SPSS 26.0. Although it was determined that the data showed normal distribution in the statistical analysis, the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test, and Wilcoxon Ranked Signs test were used to test the hypotheses since the participants in the study were less than 30. According to the results of the study, there was no significant difference between the students in the experimental group and the control group students after the mentor training program. In addition, it was determined that there was no significant difference between the experimental group students before and after the training program.
