Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı öğretmenlik mesleğinin en fazla iki yılını kapsayan ve aday öğretmenlik olarak nitelendirilen süreçte öğretmenlerin sosyalleşme deneyimlerini irdelemektir. Çalışma, nitel araştırma desenlerinden olan fenomenolojik araştırma deseniyle tasarımlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın katılımcıları, Karaman'da görev yapan ve aday öğretmenlik sürecini en fazla üç yıl önce tamamlayan 10 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenmiş ve veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Görüşmeler kayda alınmış ve toplanan veriler içerik analiz yöntemiyle irdelenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde MAXQDA 2020 programı kullanılmıştır. Katılımcılardan elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda 4 tema oluşturulmuştur. Oluşturulan temalar“İlk Anlar”,“Örgütle Kaynaşma”,“Beklentiler”,“Geride Kalanlar”şeklindedir. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmenlerin aday öğretmenlik sürecinde çoğunlukla benzer deneyimler yaşadıkları tespit edilmiştir. Aday öğretmenlik süresi boyunca öğretmenlerin okul ve çevresi ile kaynaşma noktasında ya yalnız bırakıldığı ya da öğretmenlere yanlış bir sosyalleşme yaşatıldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ancak bazı okullarda bu sürecin etkili gerçekleştirilmesiyle aday öğretmenin hem mesleğine hem de okula aidiyetinin arttığı tespit edilmiştir.

The purpose of this study is to examine the socialization experiences of teachers during the first year of their profession, referred to as the novice teaching period. The study is designed using the phenomenological research design, which is one of the qualitative research designs. In this context, the participants of the study consist of 10 teachers who are currently working in Karaman and have completed their novice teaching process within the last three years. The study group was determined through purposive sampling method, and data were obtained using a semi-structured interview form. The interviews were recorded, and the collected data were analyzed using content analysis method. MAXQDA 2020 software was utilized for data analysis. Based on the data obtained from the participants, four themes have been identified:“First Moments,”“Integration with the Organization,”“Expectations,”and“Those the behind”. The research findings indicate that teachers mostly share similar experiences during the novice teaching period. Throughout this period, teachers have been found to either feel isolated from the school and its surroundings or have been subjected to incorrect socialization experiences. However, it has been observed that in some schools, effective implementation of this process enhances both the novice teacher's sense of belonging to the profession and to the school.
