Özet
Günümüzde teknolojinin hızla değişmesi ve gelişmesi ile eğitim alanında da birçok yenilik meydana gelmiştir. Yaşamımızın büyük bir alanında yer alan fen bilimleri de bu değişimden etkilenmektedir. Fen öğretimi için seçilen yöntemler, gelişen ve değişen teknoloji sürecine uygun olmalıdır. Fen bilimlerini oluşturan temel disiplinler anlaşılması güç soyut konular barındırmaktadır. Bu konuların öğretiminde soyut olan bilgileri somutlaştırabileceğimiz yöntemler kullanılmalıdır. Tarihi çok eski zamanlara dayanan laboratuvar yöntemi bu anlamda fen eğitiminde kullanılan en önemli yöntemlerden biridir. Ancak gelişen teknolojinin eğitim alanına entegresi ile artık yeni bir öğretim yöntemi deneyimi adına bu çalışma da günümüz teknolojilerinden olan metaverse ile bir fen bilimleri konusu olan 'Asitler ve Bazlar' ile laboratuvar ve metaverse ortamında deney uygulaması yapılacaktır. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda nicel ve nitel araştırma yöntemlerini bir arada bulunduran karma araştırma yönteminin gömülü deseni kullanılacaktır. Araştırmanın nicel boyutunda deneysel desen kullanılacak olup, deney ve kontrol grubundan oluşan öğrencilere ön test ve son test olarak '' Fen Eğitiminde Başarı Testi: Asit-Baz Konusu'' uygulanacaktır. Araştırmanın nitel boyutunda ise durum deseni kullanılacak olup gözlem ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılacaktır. Çalışma grubunu İç Anadolu Bölgesi'nde bir devlet okulunda öğrenim gören ortaokul, 8. Sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemi 5 kişi deney ve 5 kişi kontrol olmak üzere toplam 10 öğrenci oluşturacaktır. Nitel verilerin analizinde betimsel ve içerik analizi kullanılırken nicel verilerin analizinde SPSS 20.0 programı kullanılacaktır.

Today, with the rapid change and development of technology, many innovations have occurred in the field of education. Science, which takes place in a large area of our lives, is also affected by this change. The methods chosen for science teaching should be appropriate to the developing and changing technology process. The basic disciplines that make up the sciences contain abstract subjects that are difficult to understand. In the teaching of these subjects, methods that can embody the abstract information should be used. The laboratory method, which dates back to ancient times, is one of the most important methods used in science education in this sense. However, with the integration of developing technology into the field of education, in the name of a new teaching method experience, in this study, an experiment will be made with the metaverse, which is one of today's technologies, and 'Acids and Bases', a science subject, in the laboratory and metaverse environment. In line with the purpose of the research, embedded mixed research method, which combines quantitative and qualitative research methods, will be used. Experimental design will be used in the quantitative dimension of the research, and“Achievement Test in Science Education: Acid-Base Subject”will be applied to the students consisting of the experimental and control groups as a pre-test and post-test. In the qualitative dimension of the research, case design will be used, and observation and semi-structured interview forms will be used. The study group consists of secondary school, 8th grade students studying in a public school in the Central Anatolia Region. The sample will consist of a total of 10 students, 5 of whom are experimental and 5 are control. While descriptive and content analysis will be used in the analysis of qualitative data, SPSS 20.0 program will be used in the analysis of quantitative data.
