Özet
ÖZET Yüksek Lisans Tezi Günümüz Kapitalist Toplumlarının Toplumsal Cinsiyet Perspektifi Şerif GÜLER Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Kadın Çalışmaları Ana Bilim Dalı Kadın Çalışmaları Bilim Dalı Günümüzde kapitalizmin liberalizmle ve küreselleşmeyle iç içe geçmiş vizyonu toplumsal cinsiyet perspektifine yeni bir boyut kazandırmıştır. Maddi ihtiyaçların git gide daha çok artması insanları bu ihtiyaçları kazandırmaya sürüklemiş ve insanların günlük rutini bu ihtiyaçları kazanma istekleri ve arzularıyla dolu zorunlu eylemlere dönüşmüştür. Bu eylemlerin tutumlara ve davranışlara yansımasıyla insan ilişkileri ve dolayısıyla toplumsal cinsiyet ve rolleri değişime uğramıştır. Maddi ihtiyaçlara yönelik adanmışlık, kapitalist toplumlarda toplumsal cinsiyetin yeri ve biçimini giderek daha çok önemli hale getirmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı; kapitalizmin toplumsal cinsiyete yönelik bakışını ele almak ve etkilerini nedenler dahilinde belirlemektir. Tarihsel bağlamda incelenmeye çalışılan cinsel ilişkinin doğası, bu konunun basit olamayacak kadar karmaşık olduğunu göstermektedir. Toplumsal cinsiyet konusu, toplumsal cinsiyetin sosyal yapısını, biyolojik ve toplumun sosyal yönlerini vurgular. Değişen sosyal ve ahlaki çevre ile modern toplum yapısının cinsiyet rollerini yansıtmak için daha detaylı teorilere ihtiyaç duyulmuştur. Kapitalizmin sermeye birikimi ve kâr amacına dayalı adanmışlığının küresel bir salgına dönüşmesi toplumsal cinsiyetin kavramsal yapısında da büyük değişikliğe yol açmıştır. Raewyn Connell (R. W. Connell) tarafından düşünülen“Eril güç”kavramı, toplumsal cinsiyet araştırmalarındaki anlam boşluklarını dolduran bir kavram olarak literatürde yerini almıştır. Güç ve eril enerjinin birleşmesini fiziksel yaşamda cinsiyet ayırmaksızın konfor ve tüketim için en gerekli kılan; davranışların ve sosyal düzenin inşasında bu birleşimle hareket edilmesini vizyonu temeline alan liberal kapitalizm, cinsiyetleri birbirinden uzaklaştırmakta ve ilişkilerin sorunlarını da pekiştirmektedir. Bu pekişme kişisel ve sosyal sorunları artırmakta ve şiddetin en temel gerekçesi haline gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada liberal kapitalist ideolojinin cinsiyetlere ve cinsiyet bağlarına etkisi Disiplinlerarası araştırmayla incelenmiştir.

ABSTRACT Master's Thesis Nowadays Gender Perspective in Capitalist Societies Şerif GÜLER Dokuz Eylul University Graduate School of Social Sciences Department of Women's Studies Science Branch of Women's Studies Today, the vision of capitalism intertwined with liberalism and globalization has added a new dimension to the gender perspective. The increase in material wants has led people to obtain these wants, and people's daily routines have turned into compulsory actions full of desires and desires to obtain these wants. With the reflection of these actions on attitudes and behaviors, human relations and therefore gender and roles have also changed. Dependence on material needs has made the place and form of gender increasingly important in capitalist societies. The purpose of this study; The aim is to address capitalism's perspective on gender and to identify its effects within its causes. The nature of sexual intercourse attempted to be examined in a historical context shows that this issue is too complex to be simple. The subject of gender emphasizes the social construction of gender, the biological and social aspects of society. More detailed theories were needed to reflect the changing social and moral environment and gender roles of the modern social structure. The transformation of capitalism's dedication to capital accumulation and profit purposes into a global epidemic has led to a major change in the conceptual structure of gender. The concept of“Male power”thought by Raewyn Connell (R. W. Connell) has taken its place in the literature as a concept that fills the meaning gaps in gender research. What makes the combination of power and masculine energy most necessary for comfort and consumption in physical life, regardless of gender; Liberal capitalism, based on the vision of acting with this combination in the construction of behaviors and social order, alienates the genders from each other and reinforces the problems of relationships. This reinforcement increases personal and social problems and becomes the main justification for violence. In this study, the effect of liberal capitalist ideology on gender and gender ties was examined through interdisciplinary research.
