Özet
Çalışmanın amacı Humboldt felsefesinde“bildungun olanağı olarak dil”problemini ele almaktır. Dil, düşünme gibi tüm insanlarda bulunan ortak bir yetidir. İnsanlık düşünme ve dil sayesinde, dünyayı ve çevresini dile dökebilmekte ve kendini doğadan ayırarak yeni dünyalar yaratabilmektedir. Humboldt'a göre dil sahibi insan, özgür ve tarihsel bir varlıktır. Dünya tarihi, insanlığın ilerleme tarihidir. İnsanlığın ilerlemesi ile bireysel gelişim arasında bir paralellik vardır. İlerleme, oluşumu ve gelişimi ifade eden bildung tarafından sağlanmaktadır. Bildung eğitim ve kültürü kapsamakta ancak bunlardan birine indirgenememektedir. Humboldt bildungun, insanın güçlerini uyumlu bir bütüne ve ideale doğru geliştirdiği bir süreç olduğunu ifade etmektedir. Humboldt bildungu bir yandan eğitim kuramı olarak ele almaktadır ve buna uygun olarak eğitim reform planı yapmıştır. Ancak bildung başlangıcı ve bitişi olmayan bir süreci ifade ettiği için formel eğitimle sınırlı değildir. Bundan dolayı Humboldt bildungu bir yaşam biçimi olarak da tasarlamaktadır. Humboldt'un amacı, çeşitliliğin olduğu bir dünyada, insanın farlılığını birliğe feda etmeden yolunu bulmasını sağlamaktır. Çeşitliliğin ortaya çıkmasını sağlayan şey özgürlüktür ve bildung sürecinin temel koşulu insanın özgür olmasıdır. Özgür insan hemcinsleri ve toplumla dili sayesinde etkileşim kurarak dünyayla birlikte kendini de biçimlendirmektedir. Bildung süreci insanın çok yönlü gelişimiyle ve ayrıca gelişim çizgisinin bütüne ulaşması anlamında insanlıkla ilgilidir. İnsanın güçleri geliştirmesinin yolu, dünyayla yüzleşmektir. Humboldt'un bildung kuramında ilk önemli kavramı“dünya”ikinci kavram ise“insanlık”tır. Dil, insan ile dünya arasında aracılık yaptığı, dünya görüşünden hareketle insana dünyalar sunduğu, dünyanın dile getirilmesini sağlayarak insanın hem kendini hem dünyayı şekillendirdiğini sağladığı için bildungun olanağıdır. Ancak günümüzde yaşanan bilimsel ve teknolojik gelişmeler, küreselleşmenin artması, doğanın tahakküm altına alınması, postmodernizmin yükselişe geçmesi ve ekonominin belirleyici olması, dilin insan ve dünya arasındaki aracılık yönünü sekteye uğratmıştır. Bu durum benliğin ve güçlerin gelişimini ifade eden bildung sürecini ve dil eylemlerini etkilemektedir. İnsanlar artık kendini ve dünyayı biçimlendirmek için fazla çaba harcamamakta, başkaları tarafından kendine sunulan seçenekleri kabul etmektedir.

The aim of the study is to address the problem of“language as the possibility of bildung”in Humboldt's philosophy. Language, like thinking, is a common faculty in all human beings. Through thinking and language, humanity is able to articulate the world and its environment and create new worlds by separating itself from nature. According to Humboldt, a human being with language is a free and historical being. World history is the history of human progress. There is a parallel between human progress and individual development. Progress is ensured by bildung, which expresses formation and development. Bildung encompasses education and culture but cannot be reduced to one of them. Humboldt states that bildung is a process by which human beings develop their powers towards a harmonious whole and ideal. On the one hand, Humboldt considered bildung as an educational theory and made an educational reform plan accordingly. However, bildung is not limited to formal education as it is a process without beginning and end. Therefore, Humboldt also conceived of bildung as a way of life. Humboldt's aim is to enable people to find their way in a world of diversity without sacrificing difference for unity. Freedom is what enables diversity to emerge, and the basic condition for the process of bildung is that man must be free. The free human being interacts with his fellow human beings and society through language, shaping himself along with the world. The process of bildung is about the multifaceted development of the human being and also about humanity in the sense that the line of development leads to the whole. The way to develop one's powers is to confront the world. In Humboldt's theory of bildung, the first important concept is“the world”and the second concept is“humanity”. Language is the possibility of bildung because it mediates between human beings and the world, offers worlds to human beings based on their worldview, and enables human beings to shape both themselves and the world by enabling the world to be expressed. However, today's scientific and technological developments, the increase in globalization, the domination of nature, the rise of postmodernism and the determining role of the economy have interrupted the mediation aspect of language between human beings and the world. This situation affects the process of bildung, which refers to the development of the self and its powers, and language acts. People no longer make much effort to shape themselves and the world, but accept the options presented to them by others.
