Özet

46 ÖZET Hacettepe Üniversitesi Merkez Kampusu Öğrencilerinin Öğrenci Sağlık Merkezi'nden Yararlanma Durumları Bu çalışma, Hacettepe Üniversitesi Merkez Kampusu 'ndeki öğrencilerin Öğrenci Sağlık Merkezi'nden Yararlanma Durumlarını saptamak amacıyla Mart 1999-Mayıs 2000 yılları arasında yapılmıştır. Onsekiz fakülte ve yüksek okuldan rastgele örnek leme yöntemi ile seçilen 301 öğrenci araştırma kapsamına alınmış ve değerlendiril miştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre ÖSM, kısıtlı imkan ve kadrosuna rağmen beklenen hizmeti büyük ölçüde verebilmektedir. Özellikle HÜMK ÖSM'nin Hacettepe Hastanelerine yakın olması ve sevk imkanının bulunması verilen hizmetin yeterliliğini arttırmıştır. Öğrencilerin ilk yıllarında ÖSM'nden yararlanma ve varlığını bilme durum ları düşük saptanmış ve ÖSM'nin ilk yıl öğrencilerine tanıtılması gerektiği sonucu na varılmıştır. Öğrencilerin %50,0' sinin personelden ilgi ve güleryüz beklentisi saptanarak, çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Araştırmada saptanan sonuçların her birinin ayrıntılı araştırmalarda irdelen mesi, konuya daha geniş bir açılım getirebilecektir.

47 SUMMARY The State of University Students at Hacettepe University on the Main Campus on Having the Benefit of the Student Health Centre This study was conducted between March 1999-May 2000 in order to determine the state of university students at Hacettepe University on main campus as for having the benefit of the Student Health Center. The study was conducted by a randomly select ed sample of 301 students from 18 faculties and colleges and was then evaluated. The results obtained depicted that Student Health Center was able to provide services expected from it in spite of it limited facilities and personnel ÖSM. Particularly, since the Student Health Center on the main campus being closer to Hacettepe University Hospitals and the possibility of being send to hospitals when necessary have increased the efficiency of the services provided. In their first years students were not aware of the fact that they had a right to have the benefit of Student Health Center. Thus, it was concluded that there was a need for the first year students to itroduce them to the Student Health Center. It was also determined that 50% of the students had expectations of concerned and a smiling-faced nurses and some suggestions were also made in this study about this issue. The subject-matter could be clarified to a greater extent when each one of the results obtained by the research was investigated in more detailed studies.
