Özet
İslam kültür tarihinde büyük önem atfedilen bir zaman dilimi olan Kadir gecesi, hem Kur'ân-ı Kerîm ayetlerinde hem de hadis rivayetlerinde önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Kur'ân'da, Kadir gecesinin değeri, mübarek oluşu ve Ramazan ayında yer alması vurgulanmış, ancak spesifik zaman dilimine değinilmemiştir. Ayetlerin bu gecenin vahiyle irtibatına ve keyfiyetine dair vurguları yanında“Kadr”kelimesinin semantiği, Kur'ân'ın bu geceye özel bir önem atfederek onu vahyin nüzuluyla ilişkilendirmek suretiyle yücelttiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Hadis kaynaklarında ise Kadir gecesinin fazileti, zamanı, alametleri ve Kadir gecesine özgü ibadetler ve zikirlerle ilgili rivayetler serdedilmiş ve rivayetlerin odak noktasını bu gecenin tespitine dair çabalar oluşturmuştur. Hadislerde hangi gece olduğuna dair bazı ipuçları verilmişse de muayyen bir gece tasrih edilmemiştir. Özellikle Ramazan'ın son on gününün tekli gecelerine yönelik vurgular ve Hz. Peygamber'in (s.a.v.) bu günlerde itikaf başta olmak üzere diğer ibadetleri yoğunlaştırmasına dair anlatılar, rivayetlerin ağırlık merkezini teşkil etmektedir.

The Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr), which is a time period to which great importance is attached in the history of Islamic culture, has an important place both in the verses of the Quran and in the narrations of hadith. The value of the Night of Power, its blessedness and the fact that it takes place in the month of Ramadan are emphasized in the Quran, but the specific time period is not mentioned. In addition to the verses' emphasis on the connection of this night with revelation and its quality, the semantics of the word“Qadr”reveal that the Quran attributes special importance to this night and glorifies it by associating it with the revelation. In the sources of hadith, narrations regarding the virtues, time, signs of the Night of Power and worships and dhikrs specific to the Night of Power have been presented, and the focal point of the narrations has been efforts to determine this night. Although some clues are given in the hadiths as to which night it is, a specific night is not specified. In particular, the emphasis on the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan and the Prophet Muhammad's Narratives about the Prophet intensifying other practices, especially itikaf, during these days constitute the center of gravity of the narrations.
