Özet
XX. yüzyılın önde gelen bestecilerinden ve yetkin bir piyanist olan Dimitri Şostakoviç, müzik disiplininde olduğu kadar, sosyo-kültürel bağlamda da kalıcı etkiler yaratmış bir sanatçıdır. İkinci Dünya Savaşı ile birlikte Soğuk Savaş'ı da deneyimlemiş Sovyet sanatçının eserlerinde, bulunduğu dönemin siyasi ve sosyal çatışmalarının izleri açık bir şekilde görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada Şostakoviç'in Mi Bemol Majör Viyolonsel Konçertosu Op. 107, No. 1 eserinin teknik özelliklerinin sunulması, Türk eğitim sistemindeki ve senfoni orkestralarındaki yeri ele alınmıştır. Şostakoviç'in eserleri arasında önemli yere sahip olan bu eser, Türkiye'deki birçok orkestranın repertuvarında ve Türk eğitim sisteminde yer alan konservatuvarların müfredatında yer almaktadır. Eseri çalışacak konservatuvar öğrencileri ve müzisyenler için bu çalışmada, eser üzerinde viyolonselde sağ ve sol el tekniklerini içeren bir analiz yapılmış, eserin Türk eğitim sisteminde yer alan konservatuvar müfredatlarındaki yeri değerlendirilirken, Türk eğitim sisteminde görev yapan akademisyenlere önceden hazırlanmış sorular yöneltilerek, öğrenciler tarafından bu eserin seslendirilme sıklığı ve eğitim üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmıştır. Türkiye'deki devlet, belediye, üniversite ve özel vakıflara bağlı orkestraların arşivlerine erişim sağlanarak, konser programlarında bu eserin ne sıklıkta icra edildiğine yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca, orkestrayla birlikte eseri icra eden solist ve şeflere, önceden hazırlanmış sorular yöneltilerek, eserin pratik aşaması ve orkestrayla seslendirilme sürecindeki deneyimlerinin, gelecekte bu eseri sahnede icra edecek ve yönetecek müzisyenler için yardımcı olacak şekilde sunulması hedeflenmektedir.

One of the leading composers of the 20th century and a competent pianist, Dmitry Shostakovich is an artist who has made lasting impacts in the socio-cultural context as well as in the discipline of music. The traces of the political and social conflicts of the period are clearly visible in the works of the Soviet artist, who experienced the Cold War along with World War II. This study presents the technical features of Shostakovich's Cello Concerto in E Flat Major Op. 107, No. 1, and discusses its place in the Turkish education system and symphony orchestras. This work, which has an important place among Shostakovich's works, is included in the repertoire of many orchestras in Turkey and in the curricula of conservatories in the Turkish education system. For conservatory students and musicians who will study the piece, an analysis of the piece including right and left hand techniques on the cello was made, while the place of the piece in the conservatory curricula in the Turkish education system was evaluated, and the frequency of this piece being performed by students and its effect on education was investigated by asking pre-prepared questions to academics working in the Turkish education system. Access was provided to the archives of orchestras affiliated with state, municipal, university and private foundations in Turkey, and the frequency with which this piece was performed was included in concert programs. In addition, pre-prepared questions were asked to soloists and conductors who performed the piece with the orchestra, and it is aimed to present their experiences during the practical phase of the piece and the process of performing it with the orchestra in a way that will be helpful for musicians who will perform and conduct this piece on stage in the future.
