Özet
This research focuses on transitional housing arrangements in the aftermath of a disaster, a critical stage in disaster recovery. The problems associated with the post-disaster housing process have been ongoing for years worldwide, and the disaster victims have been experiencing these problems. The multiple problems can be classified as design problems, construction-related problems, environmental problems, socio-cultural problems, and community participation. This document begins by studying the concepts of belonging and space. After this chapter, the design criteria and problems of post-disaster shelters are analyzed. The research findings are examined in the light of three case studies. The study concludes with a comparison of various solutions developed over the past decade.
