Özet

Türkiye, içinde bulunduğu stratejik konumu sebebiyle birçok kez göçe maruz kalan ülkelerden biri olmuştur. Özellikle Orta Doğu coğrafyasında yakın geçmişte başlayan ve günümüze kadar devam eden savaşlar, birçok demografik hareketliliğe neden olmuştur. Bu göç hareketleri pek çok toplumsal probleme sebep olmuştur. Bu problemlerin başında da eğitim ve mülteci öğrencilerin yaşadıkları gelmektedir. Bu minvalde bu çalışmada Ordu ilinde görev alan öğretmenlerin mülteci öğrencilere yönelik tutumu ve bu tutumun cinsiyet, yaş, meslekte geçirilen süre, ekonomik durum, dini tutum gibi olgusal değişkenlere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmada nicel araştırma yöntemine ait anket tekniğinden yararlanılmaktadır. Araştırmanın evreni öğretmenler oluşmaktadır. Örneklem grubunu ise Ordu ilinde görev alan 213 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Öğretmenlere ulaşmak için kolayda, kartopu ve amaçlı örnekleme tekniklerinden yararlanılmıştır. Oluşturulan anket metninde demografik soruların yanı sıra“Mülteci Öğrenci Tutum Ölçeğine”yer verilmiştir. Anket metni öğretmenlere Google forms aracılığıyla 20.04.2024-10.06.2024 tarihleri arasında uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programı aracılığıyla analize tabii tutulmuştur. Çalışmanın sonucunda öğretmenlerin mülteci öğrenci tutum ölçeği toplam puan ortalamasının x: 71,14 olduğu, Ordu ilinde görev yapan öğretmenlerin mülteci öğrencilere yönelik tutumunun pozitif yönde ve ortalama üstü düzeyde olduğunu tespit edilmiştir. Değişkenler arası farklılıklara bakıldığında erkek, meslekte kıdemli, şehir ve büyükşehirde hayatının çoğunu geçiren, ilkokulda görev alan ve dini tutum düzeyi yüksek olan öğretmenlerin mülteci öğrencilere yönelik tutumunun pozitif yönde ve ölçek ortalamalarının daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ekonomik düzeye ve medeni duruma göre ise bir farklılık tespit edilememiştir.

Türkiye has been one of the countries exposed to immigration many times due to its strategic location. The wars that started recently and continue until today, especially in the Middle East, have caused many demographic movements. These migration movements have caused many social problems. These migration movements have led to numerous social problems, chief among them being issues related to education and the challenges faced by refugee students. In this context, this study examines the attitudes of teachers in the Ordu province towards refugee students and whether these attitudes vary based on variables such as gender, age, years of professional experience, economic status, and religious beliefs. The study employs the survey technique, a quantitative research method. The research population consists of teachers, with the sample group comprising 213 teachers working in the Ordu province. To reach the teachers, convenience, snowball, and purposive sampling techniques were utilized. The survey instrument included demographic questions and the“Refugee Student Attitude Scale.”The survey was administered to teachers via Google Forms between April 20, 2024, and June 10, 2024. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS software. The findings revealed that the mean total score of the Refugee Student Attitude Scale for the teachers was 71.14, indicating that the attitudes of teachers in Ordu towards refugee students were positive and above average. Regarding differences among variables, it was found that male teachers, those with seniority in the profession, those who spent most of their lives in urban or metropolitan areas, those teaching at primary schools, and those with higher levels of religious attitudes had more positive attitudes towards refugee students, with higher mean scores on the scale. No significant differences were found based on economic status or marital status.
