Özet
Bu çalışma, Mersin ili Mezitli ilçesine ait Lepidoptera takımı içerisinde bulunan Geometridae faunasına katkı sağlamak ve bölgenin biyolojik zenginliğinin ortaya çıkarılmasına yardımcı olmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaç ile 2022-2024 yılları arasında 16 farklı lokaliteden toplanan örnekler entomolojik müze materyali haline getirilmiş olup teşhisleri yapılmıştır. Yapılan teşhisler sonucunda Geometridae familyasına ait toplamda 293 örnek incelenmiş olup beş alftamilyadan (Sterrhinae, Larentiinae, Geometrinae, Orthostixinae ve Ennominae) 23 cinse ait 46 tür tespit edilmiştir. Bu türlerin habitatı, Türkiye ve dünya yayılışları hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Tespiti yapılan türlerin tamamı Mezitli ilçesi için yeni kayıttır.

This study was conducted to contribute to the fauna of the Geometridae within the Lepidoptera order distributed in Mezitli district of Mersin province and to help revealing the biological diversity of the region. For this purpose, samples collected from 16 different localities were turned into entomological museum material and their identifications were made between 2022-2024. A total of 293 samples belonging to the Geometridae family were collected and 46 species belonging to 23 genera from 5 subfamilies (Sterrhinae, Larentiinae, Geometrinae, Orthostixinae and Ennominae) were identified. Information was given about the habitats of the species and their distribution in Türkiye and the world was given. All of the identified species are new records for the Mezitli district.
