Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı web 2.0 araçları ile zenginleştirilen Fen öğretiminin ortaokul 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin sürdürülebilir kalkınmaya yönelik tutumlarına ve başarılarına etkisinin araştırılmasıdır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2023-2024 eğitim öğretim yılı Mardin ili Nusaybin ilçesinde 8. sınıfa devam eden 39 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Akgül ve Aydoğdu (2020) tarafından geliştirilen“Sürdürülebilir Yaşama Yönelik Farkındalık Ölçeği”ile araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen“Sürdürülebilir Kalkınmaya Yönelik Başarı Testi”kullanılmıştır. 20 deney grubu öğrencisi ile“Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma”konusu mevcut Fen Bilimleri dersi öğretim programına ilave olarak web 2.0 araçları ile desteklenirken, 19 kontrol grubu öğrencisi ile ise“Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma”konusu sadece Fen Bilimleri dersi öğretim programı ile işlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen veriler SPSS 23.0 paket programı kullanılarak betimsel istatistikler, bağımsız gruplar t testi ve bağımlı gruplar t testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Tutum puanları açısından deney grubu ve kontrol grubu öğrencileri son test ön test puanları arasında herhangi bir farklılık tespit edilmemiştir. Akademik başarı puanları açısından deney grubu ve kontrol grubu öğrencileri son test ön test puanları arasında deney grubu lehine anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucundan elde edilen bulgular, öğretimde Web 2.0 araçlarının kullanımının akademik başarıyı arttırdığı ancak sürdürülebilir kalkınmaya karşı tutuma herhangi bir anlamda katkı sağlamadığını ortaya koymuştur. Çalışmanın sonucunda Web 2.0 araçlarının derslerde kullanımına dair önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of science education enriched with web 2.0 tools on the attitudes and achievements of 8th grade middle school students towards sustainable development. For this purpose, a quasi-experimental design, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. The study group of the research consists of 39 students studying in the 8th grade in Nusaybin district of Mardin province in the 2023-2024 academic year. The“Awareness Scale for Sustainable Life”developed by Akgül and Aydoğdu (2020) and the“Achievement Test for Sustainable Development”developed by the researcher were used as data collection tools in the research. While the subject of“Sustainable Development”was supported with web 2.0 tools in addition to the existing Science Course Curriculum with 20 experimental group students; The subject of“Sustainable Development”was taught only with the Science Course Curriculum with 19 control group students. The data obtained as a result of the research were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 package program using descriptive statistics, independent groups t test and dependent groups t test. No difference was found between the post-test pre-test scores of the experimental group and control group students in terms of attitude scores. A significant difference was found in favor of the experimental group between the post-test pre-test scores of the experimental group and control group students in terms of academic achievement scores. The findings obtained from the research revealed that the use of Web 2.0 tools in teaching increased academic success but did not contribute in any sense to the attitude towards sustainable development. As a result of the study, suggestions were made regarding the use of Web 2.0 tools in classes.
