Özet
Sanat, ilkel dönemlerden bu tarafa insan hayatında yer alan önemli bir unsurdur. Bu sebeple erken dönemlerden bu tarafa birçok amaca hizmet eden sanat, çeşitli medeniyetlerin kendileri ifade etme biçimi olarak gelişmeye devam etmiş ve mitolojik anlatıların da zaman içinde hayat bulma fonksiyonunu yerine getirmiştir. Bu çerçevede, Kentaur Nessos'un Herakles'in karısı Deianeira'ya tecavüze yeltenmesinin anlatıldığı mitin sanatta işlenmeye devam etmesi, resim sanatının gelişimi ve mitlerin devam etme eğilimlerinin nedenleri üzerinden dönemsel gelişmeler ışığında ele alınmıştır. Arkaik Dönem'den itibaren resim, heykel, rölyef, sikke vb. birçok sanat eserinde görülen bu mit, özellikle Avrupa resim sanatında sıklıkla işlenmiştir. Yunan ve Roma kültürünün etkisiyle oluşan Avrupa düşünce sistemi, Hristiyanlık geldikten sonra kaotik bir durum almış ve Hristiyanlığa yönelik politik, kültürel, ekonomik ve psikolojik birçok sebepten dolayı antikiteye dönüş amaçlı sanatsal faaliyetler yürütülmüştür. Bu aşamadan sonra Hristiyan düşünce ve antikiteye dönüş düşüncesi ile oluşan kaotik kültür sentezi bu tarz mitlerin sanatta işlenmeye devam etmesine neden olmuş ve Modern Dönem'de de dijital teknolojinin gelişmesiyle birlikte devam etme eğilimleri farklı bir aşamaya geçmiştir. Herakles-Deianeira-Nessos mitolojisi ise yapısından dolayı Avrupa resim sanatında daha çok politik amaçlar ve sanatsal faaliyetler ile sanatta işlenmeye devam etmiş ve bu devam etme eğilimi fonksiyonel olarak pozitif bir yapı göstermektedir. Herakles ise süper kahraman ve tanrısal özellikleri ile dinsel ve politik olarak idealize edilmiş ve dönemsel olarak insan algısına yönelik çeşitli amaçlarla kullanılmıştır.

Art has always been an important aspect of human life since the primitive ages. Therefore, art, which has served many purposes since early ages, has continued to thrive as a way for various civilizations to express themselves and has also helped mythological stories to come to life over time. In this context, continued use in art of the myth of the Centaur Nessus' attempt to rape Heracles' wife Deianira has been discussed on the topics of development of the art of painting and the reasons for the continuation of myths in light of periodic developments. This myth, which has been reflected in many works of art such as painting, sculptures, reliefs, coins, etc. since the archaic period, has often been an inspiration, especially for European painting art. The European thought system, which was created under the influence of Greek and Roman culture, became chaotic after Christianity, and artistic activities were carried out towards Christianity for the purpose of returning to antiquity due to many political, cultural, economic and psychological reasons. After this point, the chaotic cultural synthesis formed by the Christian thought and the approach of returning to antiquity caused such myths to continue to be used in art and with the introduction of digital technology into art in the modern era, this tendency to continue has reached another level. However, the Heracles-Deianira-Nessus mythology has continued to be used in art in European painting art mostly due to political intentions and artistic activities because of its nature, and this tendency to continue has a functionally positive nature. Heracles, on the other hand, has been religiously and politically idolized for his super heroic and celestial characteristics and has been widely used periodically for various purposes towards human perception.
