Özet
Bu çalışmada, Türkçenin ikinci dil olarak öğretiminde, Erasmus+ Programı öğrencilerine yönelik Diller için Avrupa Ortak Başvuru Metni'nde belirlenen A1 Başlangıç Düzeyine uygun bilgisayar destekli ders materyalleri geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda 2023-2024 akademik yılı Güz döneminde Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi'nde“Beginning Turkish 1”dersini alan 17 Erasmus+ öğrencisinin dil öğrenme gereksinimleri anket yoluyla belirlenmiş ve bu gereksinimlere uygun ders materyalleri geliştirilmiştir. Araştırmada, öğrencilere Diller için Avrupa Ortak Başvuru Metni'nde belirlenen 14 bildirişim konusu ankette sunularak en çok öğrenmek istedikleri bildirişim konusuna ilişkin tercihleri sorulmuştur. Katılımcıların öğrenmek istedikleri konulara ilişkin tercihlerinin aritmetik ortalama değerlerine bakıldığında, sırasıyla günlük yaşam (4.82), seyahat (4.53), yiyecek içecekler (4.41), para ve alışveriş (4.29), mekanlar (4.24), kişisel bilgiler(4.24) en yüksek puanı almıştır. Bu doğrultuda belirtilen bu bildirişim konularına yönelik 17 alt başlıkta bilgisayar destekli materyaller gelişitirilmiştir. Materyal geliştirme sürecinde Microsoft PowerPoint ve Canva ile etkileşimli ders materyalleri oluşturulmuştur. Buna ek olarak, çevrimiçi depolama ve dosya paylaşım aracı olarak ODTÜClass, çevrimiçi anket ve sınav uygulamaları için Google Forms, ölçme değerlendirme süreçlerinde çevrimiçi sınav platformu Kahoot ve QuizCube, ders sonrası bireysel öğrenme etkinlikleri geliştirmek amacıyla Quizlet öğrenme platformu kullanılmıştır. Geliştirilen materyaller, sınıf ortamında uygulanmış ve öğrencilerin dil becerilerindeki gelişim, başarı testi yoluyla ölçülmüştür. Ön test ve son test karşılaştırmaları sonucunda, geliştirilen materyallerin öğrencilerin dil becerilerini geliştirmede etkili olduğunu ve akademik başarılarını anlamlı bir şekilde artırdığı gözlemlenmiştir.

This study aims to develop computer-assisted instructional materials appropriate for the A1 Beginner Level defined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) for Erasmus+ Program students, focusing on the teaching of Turkish as a second language. To achieve this aim, the language learning needs of 17 Erasmus+ students enrolled in the“Beginning Turkish 1”course at the Middle East Technical University during the Fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year were identified through a survey, and course materials were developed based on these needs. In the study, 14 communication topics defined in the CEFR were presented to the students through the survey, and they were asked to indicate their preferences regarding the topics they most wanted to learn. The arithmetic mean values of the students' preferences for the topics revealed that daily life (4.82), travel (4.53), food and drinks (4.41), money and shopping (4.29), places (4.24), and personal information (4.24) received the highest scores. Based on these results, computer-assisted materials were developed under 17 subtopics related to these communication areas. During the material development process, interactive course materials were created using Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva. Additionally, online storage and file-sharing tools such as ODTÜClass, Google Forms for online surveys and exams, Kahoot and QuizCube for assessment processes, and Quizlet learning platform for individual learning activities after class were utilized. 173 The developed materials were implemented in the classroom, and the students' improvement in language skills was measured through achievement tests. Comparisons between pre-test and post-test results revealed that the developed materials were effective in improving the students' language skills and significantly enhancing their academic success.
