Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, cerrahi birimlerde çalışan hemşirelerin, konsültasyon liyezon psikiyatrisi hemşiresine olan gereksinimlerini belirlemektir. Çalışma, tanımlayıcı desende gerçekleştirilmiş ve cerrahi birimlerde çalışan hemşirelerin konsültasyon liyezon psikiyatrisi hemşiresine yönelik gereksinimlerinin yanı sıra bu konudaki bilgi durumları araştırılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında, cerrahi birimlerde çalışan hemşirelerin psikiyatrik destek ihtiyacı ve bu konuda sahip oldukları bilgi seviyeleri sorgulanmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri Aralık 2024 tarihinde toplanmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini İstanbul ilindeki Başakşehir Çam ve Sakura Şehir Hastanesi'nde cerrahi birimlerde çalışan toplam 683 hemşire oluştururken örneklemi ise çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 261 cerrahi birim hemşiresi oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak, Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Konsültasyon Liyezon Psikiyatrisi Hemşiresi Gereksinimi Formu kullanılmıştır. Veriler hemşireler ile yüz yüze görüşülerek Kişisel Bilgi Formu (EK-1) ve Konsültasyon Liyezon Psikiyatrisi Hemşiresi Gereksinimi Formu (EK-2) ile toplanacaktır. İstatistiksel analizler SPSS (IBM SPSS Statistics 27) adlı paket program kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Bulguların yorumlanmasında frekans tabloları ve tanımlayıcı istatistikler kullanılmıştır. İki nitel değişkenin birbiriyle ilişkilerinin incelenmesinde“Pearson-χ2”çapraz tabloları kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları, cerrahi birimlerde çalışan hemşirelerin KLP hemşireliği konusunda yeterli bilgiye sahip olmadıklarını ortaya koymuştur. Ancak, rehberlik, liderlik ve destek konusunda KLP hemşirelerinin önemli bir rol üstlendiği ve bu alandaki uzmanlıklarının cerrahi hemşireler için gerekli olduğu belirlenmiştir. Hemşireler, hastaların yalnızca fiziksel değil, aynı zamanda psikolojik sağlıklarını da göz önünde bulundurarak daha bütüncül bir yaklaşım sergileme ihtiyacı hissetmişlerdir. Psikososyal bakımın önemi vurgulanmış ve hemşirelerin bu konuda KLP hemşirelerinden profesyonel destek alarak daha etkili bir bakım sunabilecekleri ifade edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak cerrahi birimlerde çalışan hemşirelerin psikososyal bakım konusunda rehberlik ve danışmanlık alabilecekleri, KLP hemşirelerinin uzmanlık alanlarının bu süreçte önemli bir yer tuttuğu anlaşılmaktadır. Bu çalışma, cerrahi birimlerde psikiyatri hemşireliği desteğine duyulan ihtiyacın arttığını ve hemşirelerin bu konuda eğitim ve destek almalarının, bakım kalitesini artırmada kritik bir rol oynayacağını göstermektedir.

The aim of this study is to determine the needs of nurses working in surgical units for consultation liaison psychiatric nurses. The study was carried out with a descriptive pattern and the needs of nurses working in surgical units towards consultation liaison psychiatric nurses as well as their knowledge on this subject were investigated. Within the scope of the research, the psychiatric support needs of nurses working in surgical units and their level of knowledge on this subject were questioned. The data of the study was collected in December 2024. The population of the study consisted of a total of 683 nurses working in surgical units at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital in Istanbul, while the sample consisted of 261 surgical unit nurses who agreed to participate in the study. Personal Information Form and Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Nurse Requirement Form were used as data collection tools in the study. Data will be collected by face-to-face interviews with nurses and with the Personal Information Form (ANNEX-1) and Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Nurse Requirement Form (ANNEX-2). Statistical analyzes were performed using the package program SPSS (IBM SPSS Statistics 27). Frequency tables and descriptive statistics were used to interpret the findings.“Pearson-χ2”cross-tabulations were used to examine the relationships between two qualitative variables. Research findings revealed that nurses working in surgical units do not have sufficient knowledge about CLP nursing. However, it has been determined that CLP nurses play an important role in guidance, leadership and support, and their expertise in this field is essential for surgical nurses. Nurses felt the need to take a more holistic approach, taking into account not only the physical but also the psychological health of patients. The importance of psychosocial care was emphasized and it was stated that nurses could provide more effective care by getting professional support from KLP nurses in this regard. As a result, it is understood that nurses working in surgical units can receive guidance and consultancy on psychosocial care, and the areas of expertise of CLP nurses have an important place in this process. This study shows that the need for psychiatric nursing support in surgical units is increasing and that nurses receiving training and support in this regard will play a critical role in improving the quality of care.
