Özet
Çalışmamız, Muhammed İzzet Derveze'nin (1888-1984) tefsirinde kıssa ile sîret arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemeyi ve bu ilişkinin Sâd Sûresi bağlamındaki mahiyetini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu doğrultuda Derveze'nin kıssalara yönelik yorumları analiz edilerek, Kur'ân kıssalarının nebevî sîret ile olan bağlantısının nasıl kurulduğu incelenmekte ve bu yaklaşımın ilâhî mesajların daha iyi anlaşılmasına dair katkıları araştırılmaktadır. Araştırma niteliksel bir çerçevede yürütülmekte ve belge inceleme ile dokümantasyon yöntemleri bir arada kullanılmaktadır. Çalışma, giriş ve sonuç bölümleri ile üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde kavramsal çerçeve sunulmakta; ikinci bölümde İzzet Derveze'nin yaşadığı çağ, hayatı, ilmî kişiliği, eserleri ve tefsir metodolojisi tanıtılmaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde ise Sâd Sûresi'nin nüzûl ortamı ve muhatapları incelenmekte; ardından Derveze'nin tefsirinde Sûre'de yer alan kıssaların sîret ile olan bağlantıları detaylandırılmaktadır. Derveze, Sâd Sûresi'nin âyetlerinin bir bütünlük oluşturduğunu, bu bütünlüğün özellikle Hz. Peygamber'in karşılaştığı zorluklar bağlamında anlam kazandığını ifade etmektedir. Ona göre, kıssalar sadece bir hikâye değil, Hz. Peygamber ve müminler için teselli ve öğüt sunan, sabır ve teslimiyeti öğreten mesajlar taşımaktadır. Ayrıca Derveze, bu kıssalar vesilesiyle tüm insanlara önemli mesajlar verildiğini vurgulamaktadır. Derveze'nin Sâd Sûresi'ne dair tefsiri, peygamberî kıssaların bağlamını hikmet ve ibret alma çerçevesinde değerlendiren bütüncül bir yaklaşımla dikkat çekmektedir. Çalışma, Derveze'nin kıssalara yönelik yorumlarının, Kur'ân mesajlarının daha iyi anlaşılmasına önemli katkılar sağladığını ortaya koymaktadır.

Our research seeks to analyze the relationship between narrative (qissa) and prophetic biography (sīra) in the exegesis of Muḥammad ʿIzzat Darwaza (1888-1984), aiming to uncover the nature of this connection within the framework of Sūrat Ṣād. To this end, Darwaza's interpretations of the narratives are examined to understand how the link between Qur'ānic stories and the prophetic sīra is established, while also investigating the contributions of this perspective to a deeper comprehension of divine messages. The study is conducted within a qualitative framework, employing both document analysis and documentation techniques. It comprises an introduction, a conclusion, and three main chapters. The first chapter outlines the conceptual framework; the second chapter discusses ʿIzzat Darwaza's historical context, life, scholarly identity, works, and exegetical methodology. The third chapter delves into the socio-historical context and audience of Sūrat Ṣād, followed by a comprehensive analysis of the connections Darwaza draws between the narratives in the Sūrah and the prophetic sīra. Darwaza asserts that the verses of Sūrat Ṣād constitute a coherent unity, which gains particular significance within the challenges encountered by the Prophet Muhammad. In his view, these narratives are not mere stories but contain messages offering solace and guidance to the Prophet and the believers, teaching lessons of patience and submission. Furthermore, Darwaza highlights that these narratives deliver significant messages to all of humanity. His interpretation of Sūrat Ṣād is notable for its holistic perspective, evaluating the context of prophetic narratives within a framework of wisdom and moral lessons. This study has demonstrated that Darwaza's commentary on the narratives provides a meaningful contribution to the profound understanding of the Qur'ānic message.
