Özet
Türkiye'de oluşan göç ve bu oluşumun getirileri olarak oluşan gecekondulaşma ile kentlerde oluşan problemler birbirlerini takip eden süreçler halinde hala etkileri süren olgular haline gelmişlerdir. Kentlerde ortaya çıkan en önemli sorun gecekondular olmuşlardır. Ekonomik, sosyal, çevresel veya siyasal olarak etkileri her alanda belli olan gecekondu problemi kentlerde çarpık ve sağlıksız kentleşmeye neden olmuştur. Göçlerin hızlanması ve bunu takip eden barınma problemleri de hızlanan göçlerle artmıştır. Kırsal kesimlerde bulunan işgücü kentlere doğru kaymıştır. Bununla beraber sadece yapılarda problemler oluşmamıştır. Çevresel faktörlere etkileri de tartışılması gereken boyutlara gelmiştir. Süreç içinde problemlere çözüm alternatifleri üretilmiş ve üretilmeye devam etmiştir. Bu projelerin başında kentsel dönüşüm yer almaktadır. Kentsel dönüşüm projeleri ile birlikte bozuk ve sağlıksız yapıların daha verimli yapılar haline dönüşmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Sadece yapısal olarak değil çevresel olarak ele alacak olursak nüfusun belli yerlere yoğunlaşması ve bu alanlardaki toplulukların birbirlerine uyum sağlama süreçleri de dönüşümü etkileyen faktörlerdendir. Bu çalışma da göçlerin etkisiyle oluşan gecekondulaşma sorunu ve kentlerin dönüşüm olguları üzerinde durulmuştur. Gecekondulaşma ve kentsel dönüşüm olgularını ilişkilendirerek sorunların çözümüne nasıl etki edebilecekleri üzerinde çalışılmıştır.

However, problems did not occur only in the structures. The effects of environmental factors have also reached dimensions that need to be discussed. In the process, alternatives to solving problems have been produced and continue to be produced. If we consider not only structurally but also environmentally, the concentration of the population in certain places and the adaptation processes of the communities in these areas to each other are also factors affecting the transformation. This study also focuses on the problem of shantytowns and the transformation of cities that occur as a result of migration. By relating the problems of shantytowns and urban transformation, it has been studied how they can affect the solution
