In this thesis, a portable, low-cost, and scalable system has been designed to detect postural disorders in archers. The developed system employs 13 thin-film pressure sensors placed beneath the foot to analyze an individual's plantar pressure distribution. These sensors are controlled via ESP32 microcontrollers. Additionally, a ZED 2i stereo camera has been integrated into the system to obtain 3D coordinates of the body skeleton, and these data have been synchronized with the sensor outputs to create a time-aligned dataset. The synchronized dataset has been collected and visualized through a flexible interface developed using the Python programming language. Designed with user-friendliness in mind, this interface provides a robust infrastructure for both offline analysis and future real-time evaluations. The sensor placement has been optimized according to critical regions of the foot anatomy, and the sensor outputs have been interpreted together with the skeletal data provided by the ZED 2i camera, enabling a comprehensive visual and numerical evaluation of postural balance. The data obtained from pressure and camera tests conducted under various scenarios have been thoroughly analyzed. It was observed that the maximum pressure reached up to 20 kg in the heel region, up to 16 kg at the tips of the toes, and up to 19 kg and 13 kg in the right and left regions of the foot, respectively. Upon reviewing the camera tests, a deviation of 0.06 m was detected at the ankle in the scenario involving heel pressure; a deviation of 0.07 m at the heel in the scenario applying pressure to the toe tips; and a deviation of 0.08 m at the right knee in scenarios applying pressure to the right and left regions of the foot. The data obtained from these scenarios were pre-processed into a format suitable for artificial intelligence algorithms, paving the way for future integration of classification and prediction models. The main objective of this study is to provide an objective assessment of archers' postures, thereby increasing both accuracy and athlete health, while also supporting the training process with advanced technology. The developed system represents a significant step forward in the transition to next-generation sports technologies.
