Özet
Bu araştırma 2023-2024 eğitim öğretim yılında Kastamonu ili merkez ilçesinde bir devlet okulunda 6.sınıfta öğrenim gören iki farklı şubede toplam 56 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Deney grubuna 2 hafta boyunca 10 ders saati süresince 5E öğrenme modeline yönelik araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan günlük planlarla uygulama yapılmış olup; kontrol grubuna ise programa uygun şekilde öğretmen merkezli uygulama aynı sürede yapılmıştır. Uygulama sonrasında sınıflara milli eğitim bakanlığı soru havuzu kullanılarak araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan ön test, son test ve kalıcılık testi uygulanmıştır. Nicel verilerin analizi sonucunda 5E öğrenme modeline uygun ders işlenen deney grubu ile kontrol grubu arasında anlamlı bir fark oluşmuştur. Araştırmada deney grubuna yönelik 5E öğrenme modeli görüş formuyla da nitel veriler elde edilmiştir. Araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanmış yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formuyla deney grubu öğrencilerinin 5E modelinin uygulanmasına yönelik olumlu görüşleri olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

This research was applied to a total of 56 students in two different branches studying in the 6th grade in a public school in the central district of Kastamonu province in the 2023-2024 academic year. The experimental group was applied with daily plans prepared by the researcher for 10 lesson hours for 2 weeks for the 5E learning model; the control group was applied the same amount of time in accordance with the program and the teacher-centered application. After the application, the pre-test, post-test and retention test prepared by the researcher using the question pool of the Ministry of National Education were applied to the classes. As a result of the analysis of the quantitative data, a significant difference was found between the experimental group, which was taught in accordance with the 5E learning model, and the control group. In the study, qualitative data were also obtained with the 5E learning model opinion form for the experimental group. It was determined that the experimental group students had positive opinions about the application of the 5E model with the semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher.
