Özet
Kuhn, post-pozitivist bir bilim felsefecisi ve bilim tarihçisi olarak yeni bir bilim imgesi ve alternatif bir bilim tarihi yazımı ortaya koymuştur. Bilimsel ilerlemeye, bilim insanına ve genel olarak bilime ilişkin bakışıyla bilim felsefesinde paradigma değişikliğinin yaşanmasında etkili olmuş isimlerden biridir. Kuhn'un özellikle bilimsel ilerlemeye ilişkin yapmış olduğu şematik betimleme ve bilim felsefesi literatürüne yerleştirdiği paradigma terimi bu çalışmanın ortaya konmasında, diğer bir ifadeyle, siyasi tarihimize yapılacak olan uyarlamanın gerçekleştirilmesi adına önemli bir rol oynamıştır. Çünkü Kuhn'un bilim tarihi anlayışına baktığımızda paradigmalarla karşılaşmaktayız. Dolayısıyla bilim tarihinde yaşanan köklü kopuşlarla bakış açısı, dünya görüşü, kavramsal çerçeve, gelenek, dil değiştikçe doğaya ya da evrene dair öne sürülen ve kabul gören modeller ya da çerçeveler de değişmektedir. Bilim tarihinde evrenin işleyişine dair bize sunulan resimler gibi siyasal ve toplumsal bağlamda da ideolojiler aynı işlevi görmektedirler. İdeolojiler de paradigmalar gibi belirli bir dünya görüşünün, bakış açısının, değerler ve inançlar kümesinin ürünüdürler. Bu bağlamda her bir ideoloji de bilim tarihindeki paradigmalara benzer şekilde kendi perspektifinden hareketle dünyanın içini doldurmakta, kavramlara farklı anlamlar yüklemekte, insanın daha iyi yaşaması için çok farklı temellerden hareketle modeller inşa etmektedir. Bu çalışma, hem bilim tarihini hem de siyasi tarihimizi rakip paradigmaların mücadelesinin tarihi olarak görmekte, tarihteki ilerlemenin devrimsel olduğunu belirli tarihsel kesitler üzerinden göstermekte, Kuhn'un bilim tarihi anlayışından yola çıkarak klasik tarih yazımını aşmakta ve tarihe farklı perspektiften bakmaktadır.

Kuhn, a post-positivist philosopher of science and historian of science, has presented a new image of science and an alternative historiography of science. With his perspective on scientific progress, scientists, and science in general, he is one of the figures who has been influential in the paradigm shift in the philosophy of science. Kuhn's schematic description of scientific progress, in particular, and the term paradigm he introduced to the philosophy of science literature, have played a significant role in the development of this study and, in other words, in the realization of the adaptation to our political history. Because when we look at Kuhn's understanding of the history of science, we encounter paradigms. Consequently, as perspectives, worldviews, conceptual frameworks, traditions, and language change with radical ruptures in the history of science, the proposed and accepted models or frameworks regarding nature or the universe also change. Just like the pictures presented to us about the functioning of the universe in the history of science, ideologies also serve the same function in the political and social context. Ideologies, like paradigms, are the product of a specific worldview, perspective, set of values, and beliefs. In this context, similar to paradigms in the history of science, each ideology, based on its own perspective, fills in the world, imbues concepts with different meanings, and constructs models for better human lives based on very different foundations. This study views both the history of science and our political history as the history of the struggle between competing paradigms, demonstrating through specific historical periods that historical progress is revolutionary. Drawing on Kuhn's understanding of the history of science, it transcends classical historiography and views history from a different perspective.
