Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışma kalp cerrahisi servisi ve yoğun bakım ünitesinde çalışan hemşirelerin ERAS protokolüne yönelik bilgi ve tutumlarını belirlemek; ayrıca ERAS Protokolü Kontrol Listesi, ERAS Protokolü Bilgilendirme Afişleri ve ERAS Protokolü Eğitimi'nin hemşirelerin bilgi ve tutumları ile hastaların iyileşme kalitesi üzerindeki etkilerini incelemek amacıyla yapıldı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışma 1 Temmuz-31 Kasım 2025 tarihleri arasında yarı deneysel ön test-son test tasarımında yürütülmüştür. Çalışmanın başlangıcında ön test grubunda hastaların iyileşme kalitesi ile hemşirelerin ERAS protokolüne yönelik bilgi ve tutumları değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında kalp cerrahisi servis ve yoğun bakım ünitelerinde çalışan hemşirelere ERAS protokolüne yönelik eğitim verilmiş, ERAS Protokolü Bilgilendirme Afişleri kullanılmış ve hasta bakım sürecine ERAS Protokolü Kontrol Listesi eklenmiştir. Yapılan bu girişimlerden sonra son testte hemşirelerin ERAS protokolü bilgi ve tutum düzeyleri ile hastaların iyileşme kalitesi değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışmada ön test ve son test karşılaştırmaları sonucu, hemşirelerin ERAS protokolü bilgi ve tutum düzeyleri son test puanlarının ön test puanlarına göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde arttığı belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Benzer şekilde hastaların İyileşme Kalitesi-40 Anketi'nden aldıkları son test puanlarının ön test puanlarına göre anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0,05). Sonuç: Çalışmada ERAS Protokolü Kontrol Listesi, ERAS Protokolü Bilgilendirme Afişleri ve protokole yönelik hemşirelere verilen hizmet içi eğitimin, hemşirelerin ERAS protokolüne yönelik bilgi ve tutum düzeylerini olumlu şekilde etkilediği ve hastaların iyileşme kalitesini arttırdığı sonucuna varıldı.

Objective: This study was conducted to determine the knowledge and attitudes of nurses working in cardiac surgery wards and intensive care units toward the ERAS protocol; furthermore, it aimed to examine the effects of the ERAS Protocol Checklist, ERAS Protocol Informational Posters, and ERAS Protocol Training on nurses' knowledge and attitudes, as well as on the quality of patient recovery. Materials and Methods: The study was carried out between July 1 and November 31, 2025, using a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design. At the beginning of the study, the quality of patient recovery and the nurses' knowledge and attitudes regarding the ERAS protocol were evaluated in the pretest group. Within the scope of the study, ERAS protocol training was provided to nurses working in cardiac surgery wards and intensive care units, ERAS Protocol Informational Posters were utilized, and the ERAS Protocol Checklist was integrated into the patient care process. Following these interventions, the levels of knowledge and attitudes of the nurses toward the ERAS protocol, along with the patients' quality of recovery, were evaluated in the posttest. Results: As a result of the pretest and posttest comparisons in the study, it was determined that the nurses' knowledge and attitude levels regarding the ERAS protocol significantly increased in the posttest scores compared to the pretest scores (p < 0,05). Similarly, the posttest scores obtained from the Quality of Recovery-40 (QoR-40) Questionnaire by the patients were found to be significantly higher than the pretest scores (p < 0,05). Conclusion: It was concluded that the ERAS Protocol Checklist, ERAS Protocol Informational Posters, and the in-service training provided to nurses regarding the protocol positively affected the nurses' knowledge and attitude levels and improved the quality of patient recovery.
