Özet
Kur'ân kıssaları, Kur'ân-ı Kerim'in temel muhtevasını oluşturan en önemli unsurlardan biridir. Bu kıssalar tüm insanlığa hitap eden cihanşümul mesajlar taşıyan ibret vesikalarıdır. Bu çalışmada, Ehl-i Sünnet âlimlerinden İbn Âdil'in el-Lübâb fî Ulûmi'l-Kitâb adlı tefsiri, Kehf Suresi'ndeki kıssalar bağlamında incelenmiştir. Tezin temel amacı, müellifin kıssa tefsirinde benimsediği usûlü saptamak, İbn Âdil'in tefsir geleneğindeki konumunu belirlemek ve hacimli yapısına rağmen nispeten saklı kalmış bu kıymetli eserin akademi dünyasında daha fazla tanınmasını sağlamaktır. Bu bağlamda, Kur'ân kıssaları açısından son derece zengin bir içeriğe sahip olan; Ashâb-ı Kehf, İki Bahçe Sahibi, Hz. Âdem ve İblîs, Hz. Mûsâ ve Hz. Hızır ile Hz. Zülkarneyn kıssalarını barındıran Kehf Suresi araştırmanın odak noktası olarak seçilmiştir. Araştırma sürecinde, tefsirin tahkikli neşri temel alınmış olup nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada öncelikle İbn Âdil'in hayatı, ilmî kişiliği ve eseri hakkında genel bir çerçeve çizilmiş, kıssalar ve Kehf suresiyle ilgili genel bilgiler verilmiştir. Ardından el-Lübâb tefsiri, müellifin kıssalara yaklaşımı ekseninde detaylı bir incelemeye tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda; İbn Âdil'in Kehf Suresi'ndeki kıssaları tefsir ederken özellikle sarf ve nahiv kaidelerinden doğan anlam çeşitliliğine, Arap dili ve edebiyatı unsurlarına ve kıraat vecihlerine geniş yer ayırdığı tespit edilmiştir. Müellifin, meânî âlimlerinin yorumlarından istifade ettiği, rivâyetleri aktarırken farklı disiplinlerden ve muhtelif mezheplerden âlimlerin görüşlerini ustalıkla sentezlediği saptanmıştır. Netice itibariyle İbn Âdil'in kıssalar bağlamındaki tefsir usûlünün, rivâyet ağırlıklı bir zemin üzerine inşa edilmekle birlikte, akli istidlallere ve dirâyet metoduna da başvuran ansiklopedik bir yaklaşıma sahip olduğu ve tefsir ilmine önemli bir katkı sunduğu görülmüştür.

Qur'anic narratives are one of the most fundamental elements constituting the core content of the Holy Qur'an. These narratives are exemplary lessons carrying universal messages that address all of humanity. In this study, the exegesis (tafsir) titled al-Lubâb fî ʿUlûm al-Kitâb by Ibn ʿÂdil al-Dimashqî, a prominent scholar of the Ahl al-Sunnah, is examined in the context of the narratives within Surah al-Kahf. The primary objective of this thesis is to determine the methodology adopted by the author in the exegesis of narratives, to establish Ibn ʿÂdil's position within the tafsir tradition, and to ensure that this valuable work, which has remained relatively obscure despite its voluminous structure, gains broader recognition in the academic world. In this context, Surah al-Kahf—which possesses exceptionally rich content regarding Qur'anic narratives and encompasses the stories of the Companions of the Cave (Ashâb al-Kahf), the Owner of the Two Gardens, Prophet Adam and Iblis, Prophet Mûsâ and al-Khidr, and Dhu al-Qarnayn-has been selected as the focal point of the research. During the research process, the critical edition (tahqiq) of the tafsir was utilized as the primary source, and document analysis, a qualitative research method, was employed. The study initially draws a general framework concerning Ibn ʿÂdil's life, scholarly personality, and his work, followed by general information regarding the narratives and Surah al-Kahf. Subsequently, the tafsir of al-Lubâb is subjected to a detailed examination centered on the author's narrative methodology. The research findings indicate that while interpreting the narratives in Surah al-Kahf, Ibn ʿÂdil devotes extensive attention to the semantic diversity arising from the rules of morphology (sarf) and syntax (nahw), the elements of Arabic language and literature, and recitation variants (qirâʾât). It has been established that the author benefits from the interpretations of rhetoric (maʿânî) scholars and masterfully synthesizes the views of scholars from different disciplines and various sects while transmitting narrations. In conclusion, it has been observed that Ibn ʿÂdil's tafsir methodology in the context of narratives, although built upon a narration-based (riwâyah) foundation, possesses an encyclopedic nature that also effectively utilizes rational deductions and the reason-based (dirâyah) method, thereby making a significant contribution to the science of tafsir.
