Özet
ÖZET Türkiye'nin müzik eğitim tarihinin önemli kurumlarından biri olan Buca Eğitim Fakültesi Müzik Eğitimi Bolümü kuruluşundan bu yana birçok eğitimci ve sanatçı yetiştirmiştir. BEF Müzik Eğitimi Bölümünü ele alan bu çalışmada, kurumun tarihçesi, kuruluşu ve gelişimine, öğretici kadro, fiziki yapı ve ders programlarına, bu süreç içerisinde yapılan bilimsel ve sanatsal etkinliklerin niceliği gibi konulara değinilmiş ve bölümün müzik eğitimindeki önemini ortaya koyan verilere yer verilmiştir. Bölüm bina olarak 1973' de bitirilmiş fakat 1974' de Gazi Eğitim Enstitüsünden gelen öğrenciler ile öğretime başlanmıştır. 1976' dan itibaren, bölüm öğretim elemanlarının yaptığı yetenek sınavı ile öğrenci almıştır. İlk yıllarda GEE' nin ders programı uygulanmıştır. Fakat sonraki yıllarda hem programlar hem de öğrenci mevcutları sıkça değişime uğramıştır. Eğitimi Enstitüsü döneminden Yüksek Öğretmen Okulu ( 4 yıllık ) dönemine geçişte bölüm fiziki olarak yetersiz kalmıştır. Çünkü 20 kişilik 3 sınıf iken sınıf sayısı 4' e çıkınca öğrenci mevcudu da kabarmıştır. Daha sonra sayı 30 olarak dondurulmuştur. Diğer taraftan 4 yıllık dönemde ders programı bir türlü rayına oturtulamamıştır. 1982' den günümüze sürekli, ufak da olsa değişimler olmuştur. Ama bu değişimlere uygun olarak bölümün kadrolu öğretim elemanı sayısı artmamıştır. Bu araştırmada en büyük zorluk ise arşiv ile ilgili verilerin toplanmasında yaşanmıştır. Hatta BEF Müzik Eğitimi Bölümü' nün kuruluşu ile ilgili ilk resmi yazışmalara ulaşılamamıştır. Bu sebep ile en azından belgelere ulaşmak mümkün olmasa bile çeşitli ( görüşme, literatür tarama vb. ) yöntemlerle bilgi toplanmıştır. Sıkça, farklı zamanlardaki, farklı belgeleri karşılaştırıp bunlardan sonuç çıkarma yoluyla veriler çözümlenmiştir. m

ABSTRACT The Music Education Department of Buca Education Faculty which is one of the most important institution in the history of music education in Turkey has many educators and artists who have graduated from the Music Education Department In this study the history of the Music Education Department is taken into consideration and the foundation of the department, physical condition, faculty members, carricula and the activities are also mentioned and the important role of the department in music education of Turkey is explained. The Music Education facility was built in 1973. In 1974, the classes were opened to the students who came from Gazi Education Institute. Since 1976, the instructors who are working in the department have accepted the students with an audition. In the first years, the carricula of the Music Education Department was the same as the carricula of Gazi Education Institute. Later, both the carricula and the number of students have changed. In 1982, during the transition period from the period of Education Institute to Higher Teaching School period, the physical conditons of the department were not sufficient Because, while there were three classes for sixty students, in the new period, the number of students became more. Later, 30 students have been accepted by the department On the other hand, in the new period, since 1982, although the carricula of music department continuosly have been changing, the number of faculty members have stayed almost the same. In this resarch, the most important difficulty is to reach and to collect the data which are related to archieves. Moreover, we could not reach the official letters about the establishment Buca Education Faculty Music Education Department Even if it is not possible to reach the documents, the data have been collected by using various methods ( interview, literature review etc ). The data have been examined by frequently comparing and deducting the different documents which have been used in different periods. IV
