SUMMARY In the developing countries such as Turkey, making big projects is possible only with high effort of management because of the restricted resources, difficulty to final financial sources and difficulty to access to high technology process. Project management approach is being widely spread in private sector and in mainly big companies in our country. Besides this management approach the competion is increasing within private sector. To survive companies should adapdate the new rules of competition. To do so you have to accomadate workforce who are satisfied in their jobs and feel loyal to their company. Empowerment personnel will answer customer's needs quickly and conviniently. By doing so customer satisfaction will be done which is part of competition. In the construction company is the empowerment workforce within project teams, their satisfaction and to make them to loyal to the company is very important issue. The most important thing is customer satisfaction. Empowered satisfied and loyal employee will make customer satisfy and make company survey succesfly. In the first chapter, the project management concept, teams ( the types, properties, forming process, making better teams, the way making effective teams), organizational structures ( functional, project, matrix) and project management process and project management fiels were explained. In the second chapter, employee empowerment, job satisfaction and organizational commitment concept are evaluated. Wit hin the concept, the differences between classical organizations and empowered organizations, the basic of empowerment, the basic process of making empowerment, empowerment process and applications, and the reasons of not practicing of managers the empowerment, and the definition of job satisfaction, the factors which effects job satisfaction, the measurement of job satisfaction, the resultsof job sarisfaction, definition of organizational commitment -, the factors which effect the organizational commitment, relations between\aı organizational commitment employee behavior, and the measurement organizational commitment were explanied. \ '%'/?'« In the third chapter, the research about the effects of empowerment on job satisfaction and organizational commitment in project teams is eveluated. In this research, the goal of the research, the fraim and of research the metod, and hypothesis and data were eveluated. Also, general eveluation was done and the results were explanied. -..*
