ÖZET Yüksek Lisans Tezi İLKÖĞRETİM OKULLARINDA GÖREVLİ ÖĞRETMENLERİN BESLENME ALIŞKANLIKLARI VE BESLENME BİLGİ DÜZEYLERİ Çiğdem SABBAĞ Ankara Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Ev Ekonomisi (Beslenme) Anabilim Dalı Danışman: Prof. Dr. Metin Saip SÜRÜCÜOĞLU Bu araştırma, ilköğretim okullarında görevli öğretmenlerin beslenme akışkanlıkları ve beslenme bilgi düzeylerini saplamak amacıyla, 128 erkek ve 253 kadın olmak üzere toplam 381 öğretmen üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırma verilerinin elde edilmesinde anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, erkek öğretmenlerin yaşlan ortalama 40.98±0.623 yıl, kadın öğretmenlerin ise 36.38±0.417 yıldır. Öğretmenlerin %71.92'sinin beslenme konusunda ders almadıkları, %69.55'inin ilkokul programlarındaki beslenme konularım yeterli bulmadıkları saptanmıştır. Öğretmenlerin %42.52'sinin halen sigara içtiği %50.92'sinin biç alkol kullanmadığı, %54.33'ûnün günde üç öğün yemek yediği, en çok atladıkları ana öğün yemeğinin %24.93 ile öğle yemeği olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin %46.72'sinin yiyecek reklamlarından hiç etkilenmediği, %81.10'unun ürünlerdeki etiket bilgilerim okuduğu bulunmuştur, öğretmenlerin en çok tercih ettiği içecekler, çay ve neskafe; yiyecekler ise meyve ve simittir. Diyet ürünlerini tüketenlerin oram %28.87; en çok tercik ettikleri diyet ürünleri; kepekli ekmek ve az yağlı beyaz peynir, en çok gittikleri restoran; kebapçı, pideci ve lahmacuncudur. Batı tarzı fast food ürünlerinden hamburger (351 puan), dondurma (298 puan) ve pizza (297 puan); geleneksel fast food ürünlerinden et döner (518 puan), iskender kebap (386 puan) ve Adana kebap (213 puan); fast food içeceklerden ise ayran (657 puan), kolalı içecekler (369 puan) ve taze meyve suyu (354 puan) en çok tercih ettikleri ilk üç üründür. Öğretmenlerin %71.39'u yeterli, %24.94'ü iyi ve %3.6Tsi yetersiz düzeyde beslenme bilgisine sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Erkek öğretmenlerin beslenme bilgi puan ortalaması, 40.69±0.926, kadın öğretmenlerin beslenme bilgi puan ortalaması ise45.58±0.645'dır. 2003,97 sayfa ANAHTAR KELİMELER : Öğretmen, beslenme bilgisi, beslenme alışkanlıkları, hızlı hazır yiyecekler.

ABSTRACT Masters Thesis A RESEARCH ON NUTRITIONAL KNOWLEDGE LEVELS AND NUTRITIONAL HABITS OF ELEMANTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS Çiğdem SABBA? Ankara University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Home Economics (Nutrition) Supervisor : Prof. Dr. Metin Saip SÜRÜCÜO?LU This research was conducted on a total of 381 teacher, 253 women and 128 men on nutritional knowledge levels, nutritional habits of elementary school teachers. The data for the research was collected by questionnaires. According to the results of the research; the average age of the male teachers is 40,9&±0,623 and the average age of the female teachers is 36,38+0,417. It was determined that 71,92% of the teachers has not been instructed about nutrition and 69,55% has not found the issues of nutrition adequate in primary school curriculum. It was also determined that 42,52% of the teachers currently smoke cigarettes and 50,92% never consumes alcohol and 54,33% eat three times a day and that the main dish they generally skipped turned out to be lunch. 46,72% of the teachers has not been affected at all from the food commercials and 81,10% read the labels on the food products. The beverages most preferred by the teachers were tea and instant coffee and the foodstuff most preferred by them were fruit and simit The ratio of those consuming diet products was 28,87% and the diet products most preferred by them were whole-wheat bread and light white cheese and the restaurant most frequented by them were kebap seller, pide seller (Turkish pizza) and lahmacun seller. The most preferred west-style fast food products were hamburger (351 points), ice-cream (298 points) and pizza (297 points) while the most preferred traditional fast food products were döner (518 points), iskender kebap (386 points) the fast food beverages most in demand were ayran (657 points) cola beverages (369 points) and fruit juice (354 points). It was also determined that 71,39% of teachers has adequate information about nutrition while 24,94% of them has good knowledge of nutrition, 3,67% of tie teachers has inadequate nutrition information.
