Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Jose Ortega y Gasset'te“Ben ve Öteki Arasındaki İlişki”yi incelemek, onun bu konuya ilişkin düşüncelerini sistemli bir şekilde ortaya koymak ve onları bugünkü perspektiften değerlendirmektir. Ortega, insanı etkileyen ve insanın kişiliğini oluşturan her şeyi inceleme konusu yapmıştır. İnceleme konusu yaptığı her şeyi de, yaşamla olan bağlantısı içinde ele almaya çalışmıştır. Çünkü insan; çevre.toplum, ilişkiler, yapıp ettikleri, olaylar ve varolan her şeyin toplamı olduğu için, Ortega, insanla ilişkili olan ve insanı ilgilendiren her şeyle ilgili olmuştur. Bundan dolayı, bu çalışma da,ben ve öteki arasındaki ilişkiyle ilgili olduğu noktalarda.Ortega'nın felsefesinin temelini oluşturan ortam, toplum, bireysel yaşam, benlik ve yaşamsal akıl gibi kavramlara, kısaca değinmeye çalıştık. Ben ve öteki kavramlarına kapsamlı bir şekilde değinilmiştir. Çünkü Ortega'nın felsefesinde tek birey, bireyin kendini bulması ve onun yaşamı çok önemlidir. Bunun nedeni de, tek insanın yani bireyin bir yığın haline gelen toplumda kaybolmasıdır.Amaç, bireyin yeniden kişi olabilmesi, kendini bulması, yaşamına hakim olması ve sorumluluklarını üstlenmesidir. Bu amacın gerçekleşmesi içinde Ortega, aynen Sokrates gibi, yönetimi uyaran ve insanları uyandıran bir“at sineği”olmaya çalışır. Çünkü o felsefesiyle ülkesinde ve çağında gördüğü toplumsal sorunlara çözümler aramış ve bu çözümleri de hayata geçirmeye çalışmıştır. Bu nedenle Ortega, birçok filozofun aksine yaşamla ve onun sorunlarıyla mücadele eden ve sesini entellektüel azınlıktan çok, halka duyurmaya çalışan bir halk adamı olmuştur. Bu yüzden politikayla da ilgilenmiş, ve politika aracılığıyla ülkesinin ve halkının kaderini de değiştirmeye çalışmıştır.Ben ve öteki arasındaki ilişki tüm yönleriyle ele alınmış; yanlış ilişkinin yarattığı sorunlar ve doğru ilişkinin kazançları üzerinde ayrıntılı bir şekilde durulmuştur. Sonuç bölümünde ise, Ortega'nın ben ve öteki arasındaki ilişkiyle ilgili olarak ortaya koyduğu problemler ve çözümleri, eleştirel bir bakış açısıyla, özellikle de başka düşünürlerin bu konudaki düşünceleriyle karşılaştırılmalı olarak ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.

The purpose of this work is studying Jose Ortega y Gasset's“The Relation Between Me and The Other One”and evaluating his ideas concerning with the subject from today's perspective as well as putting them forth systematically. Anything influences human beings and constitutes human personality has been considered by Ortega as a matter of study.He also has strived to handle all the subjects that he studied, together with their connection with life.Because; according to Ortega, man is a sum of his deeds, environment, society, relations, events and everything that exist. Therefore, Ortega has been interested in anything that is related to or concerning man. Therefore in this study, the philosophy of Ortega and the concepts such as surroundings, society, individual life, ego, and reason vital, which form the basis of Ortega philosophy were briefly mentioned. The concepts of the“other and self were comprehensively mentioned. Because within Ortega's philosophy are very important the individual, development and stabilization of his personality and his life.Also because of this, the single human beingin other words the individual has disappeared in the society which has transformed into a passel now.The aim, the possible person again the individual, development and stabilization of his personality, the rule his life and to take on his resposibility. To realize this aim Ortega, he tries to be a ”horsefly“ just as Socrates, awakening, people and warning the administration, because he has locked solutions for social problems he observed in his country and the age he lived, and has tried to apply them. Therefore, Ortega has been such a social man fighting with life and its problems, and trying the people to hear his voice rather than the intellectual minority. For this reason, he has also interested in from one point view, such a pragmatist philosophy policy, and tried to change the destiny of his people and country by means of policy. Ill”The relations between the other and self was examined with their all viewpoints, and the problems created by incorrect relations and the benefits of right relations were examined in detail. In the Conclusion, the problems, which have been put forward by Ortega in respect to the relations between the "other and self, and their solutions, were tried to be put forward with a critical viewpoint, particularly comparatively with the thoughts on this matter of the other philosophers.
