Ill ABSTRACT In recent years the process management has become an up-dated issue as one criterion of business excellence. Because of increased globalization and harsh competition in the business world, the companies who understand the importance of customer satisfaction are accepting process management approach and planning to use it. And their numbers are increasing day by day all over the world. The main purpose of this thesis is to examine in every aspect the efforts made by the Kütahya Porselen, a company which aims to adopt process management approach. This thesis is for a master degree and aims to explain a methodology which can be applied to today's companies when they change their management systems to the process management. In order to reach this target, it has been widely investigated all aspects of each stages of the process management which has been achived in Kütahya Porselen, one of companies who appropriated process management and planned to realized it. All diffuculites throughout these stages and all required studies are explained, it is also explained why process management was choosen. With this investigation, it is reached to these results: Top management support is the first and most important requirement, process management is not a job which must be done once time but it is a living management style, education is the key issue for the employees who are working in the process management launch team.
