ABSTRACT In my study titled“Making of Bağlama”. I tried to describe the work and process steps between the points of wood and instrument, the basic equipment necessary for these steps and the transformation of the basic equipment into the instrument thanks to the energy and experience under the control of the individual. This study and these processes should be evaluated within the context of the activities taking place in a long period as the result of the apprehension, the experience and the mastery of various rules and the diccipline of instinctive feelings. As there is a lack of field works and thesis studies on the topic that I study on, I've had serious problems such as the lack of material and the determination of resources. As this study is first, it can bring along some defects that we could not emphasize and that are not on our own initiative. The reality and editing of work and process steps between the beginning and finish points of making of bağlama have been put in practice before. Furthermore, I think that the making of bağlama can be carried out systematically in the event that the technical data in this study is applied. 56
