İİ YÜKSEK LİSANS TEZ ÖZETİ İLKÖĞRETİM 6.SINIF TÜRKÇE DERS KİTAPLARININ KELİME SERVETİ BAKIMINDAN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ MUAMMER ÖZER Türkçe Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi, Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Mayıs 2005 Danışman Yard. Doç. Dr. Celal Demir Bu çalışma, Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından hazırlanan 6. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabında bulunan -öğrencilere sunulan- kelime servetini tespit etmek ve ders kitabının Türkçe Öğretim Programı'na uygunluğunu incelemek amacıyla yapıldı. Çalışmada ders kitabında bulunan metinler kelime serveti yönünden incelendi. Değerlendirmeler kelimeler değil kavramlar üzerinde yapıldı ve kavramlar semantik yönden ele alındı. Bilgisayar teknikleri kullanılarak verilere ulaşıldı. Bütün metinlerin ayrı ayrı değerlendirmesi yapıldı ve sonunda toplu olarak metinlerdeki kavramlar sıralandı. Kelime ve öbeklerin kaçıncı anlamda kullanıldığı, özel isimler, deyimler, mecazlar, toplam kavram sayısı, yinelenen kavram sayısı, çeşit olarak kullanılan kavram sayısı ve oranları tablolarla gösterildi. Elde edilen veriler ve bu veriler doğrultusunda ders kitabının değerlendirmesi yapıldı. Yapılan çalışma sonunda ders kitabının öğrencilerin kelime servetini artırma konusunda yeterli olmadığı görüldü.

III ABSTRACT THE EVALUATION OF THE LESSON BOOKS OF THE SIXTH CLASS OF ELEMANTARY EDUCATION FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF VOCABULARY This study has been prepared to determine the vocabulary and to research the appropriateness of the book to the Turkish Teaching Programme which is presented in the sixth class Turkish Lesson books by the Ministry of National Education. In this study the texts which has taken place in the lesson books are researched from the viewpoint of vocabulary. The evaluation has been made on concepts, not on the words and the concepts are considered from the view point of semanticts. It has been reached to the datums by using computer tecnhnics. All the texts have been considered seperately and finally concepts in the texts are listed together. It has been shown on the tables in which meanings the words and word groups are used, the proper nouns, ideoms, metaphors, the number of concepts, the number of concepts which are used again, the number of concept used in variety and their rates. According to the datum we get, the evaluation of the lesson book has been made. After the study it has been seen that the lesson book is not sufficient to enrich the students vocabulary.
