Özet

ÖZET Bu araştırmada, psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmeti veren resmi ve genel liselerdeki öğrenci, öğretmen, danışman ve yöneticilerin psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinden beklentileri ve bu beklentilerin bazı Özlük niteliklerine göre farklılık gösterip göstermediği incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklerini, 1987-1988 öğretim yılında Ankara merkez ilçelerinde psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmeti veren resmi ve genel liselerde 325 öğrenci, 97 öğretmen, 76 danışman ve 33 lise müdürü oluşturmuştur. Grupların liselerdeki psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinden beklentilerini belirlemek için bu araştırama çerçevesinde araştırıcı tarafından geliştirilen“Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik Hizmetlerinden Beklentiler Envanteri”kullanılmıştır. Grupların bazı özelliklerini saptamak amacıyla“Bilgi Formu düzenlenmiştir. Grupların ortalamaları arasındaki farkların önemli olup olmadığı testi ile kontrol edilmiştir. Araştırmada hata payı 0.05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Bazı değişkenlerin liselerdeki öğrenci, öğretmen, ?danışman 've yöneticilerin, psikolojik- danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinden beklentilerinin etkisine ilişkin bulgular, maddeler halinde aşağıda özetlenmiştir. 1. Kız öğrencilerin, erkeklerden; yaşı küçük olan öğrencilerin, büyük olanlardan; sınıf düzeyi yüksek olan -öğrencilerin, sınıf düzeyi düşük olanlardan.-; kentte yaşayan öğrencilerin, köyde yaşayanlardan psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinden beklentilerinin önemli düzeyde daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. 2. Öğrenimleri sırasında eğitim, ”formasyonu alan öğretmenlerin, almayanlardan; »eslek dersleri ve felsefeöğretmenlerinin diğer branş öğretmenlerinden; hizmetöncesi ve hizmetiçi eğitimlerinde rehberlik dersi alan öğretmenlerin, almayanlardan psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinden beklentilerinin önemli düzeyde daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Oysa kadın öğretmenlerin, erkeklerden; yaşı büyük olan öğretmenlerin, küçük olanlardan; mesleki tecrübesi çok olan öğretmenlerin, az olanlardan psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinden beklentileri arasında ö- nemli bir fark bulunmamıştır. J. Öğrenimleri sırasında rehberlik dersi okumayan danışmanların, okuyanlardan psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinden beklentilerinin önemli düzeyde daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Oysa, kadın danışmanların, erkeklerden; psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik ile felsefe grubundan olan danışmanların, diğer branşlardan olanlardan; mesleki tecrübe si fazla olan danışmanların, az olanlardan; hizmetiçi eğitimlerinde rehberlik kursuna katılan danışmanların, katılmayanlardan; yaşı büyük olan danışmanların, küçük olanlar dan; fakülte bitiren danışmanların, diğer yüksekokulları bitirenlerden psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerin den beklentileri önemli düzeyde farklı bulunmamıştır. 4-, "î aşı küçük olan yöneticilerin, yarı büyük olanlar dan; hizmetiçi eğitimlerinde rehberlik kursuna katılan yöneticilerin, katılmayanlardan psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinden beklentilerinin önemli düzeyde daha yük sek olduğu bulunmuştur. Oysa, fakülte bitiren yöneticilerin, diğer yüksekokulları bitirenlerden; yöneticilik tecrübesi çok olanların, az olanlardan; öğrenimleri sırasında rehberlik dersi okuyan yöneticilerin, okumayanlardan psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinden beklentileri önemli düzeyde farklı bulunmamıştır. vı

SUMMARY In this research, the expectations of students, teach ers, counselors, and administrators in formal and state high schools which offer service for psychological counseling and guidance were studied and also it was tested whether their expectations differed in their essential characters or not. The sample of the research consists of $25 students, 97 teachers, 76 counselors, and 33 high school directors at formal and state high schools which performed psychological counseling and guidance services in central towns of Ankara in 1987-1988 school year. In order to identify the expectations of the groups from the psychological counseling and guidance services,“The Inventory of Expectations from Psychological Counsel ing and Guidance Services”, developed by the researcher in the framework of the study, was used, moreover, a“Personal Information Questionnaire”was designed to diagnose some of the characteristics of the groups, t test was utilized to control whether the differences amongst the averages of the groups are significant or not.- -In the research, the rate of error is accepted as 0.05. The findings about the impact of some variables upon the expectations of the students, teachers, counselors, and administrators at high schools from psychological counsel ing and guidance services-' are numerically summarized as fol lows: 1. It has been found out that the expectations of the female students, younger students, the students with high class level, and the ones living in the cities from psychol ogical counseling and guidance services are significantly higher than those of, respectively the male students, older students, the students -with low class level, and the ones living in the villages. 2. It has also been identified that the expectations of the teachers with educational formation, the teachers with vocational and philosophy-related courses, and the teachers having counseling courses in their pre-service and viiin-service trainings froia psychological counseling and guid ance services are significantly higher than those of, re spectively, the ores without educational formation, the teachers of other branches, and the ones not having such courses in their ] re-service and in-service trainings. Nevertheless, it has been discovered that the expectations of the female teachers, older teachers, and highly pro fessionally experienced teachers from psychological counsel ing and guidance services are not significantly higher than those of, respectively the male teachers, younger teachers, and teachers with little experience. $. It has been found out that the expectations of the counselors who did not have guidance courses during their studies from the psychological counseling and guidance ser vices are significantly higher than those of the ones who had such courses before. However it has been identified that the expectations of the female counselors, psychologi cal counseling and gaidance-related and philosophy-related counselors, professionally experienced counselors, counsel ors given guidance courses in their in-service training, older counselors and faculty graduate counselors from psy chological counseling and guidance services are not sig nificantly higiher than those of, respectively, male coun selors, counselors from other branches, the ones with little professional experience, counselors having had guid ance courses in their in-service training, younger ones, and graduates of other colleges. 4. That the expectations of the younger administrators, and administrators having had guidance courses in their in- service training from psychological counseling and guidance services are significantly higher tahn those of, respective ly, the older administrators and counselors not having had guidance courses in their in-service training has been found out. However it has been explored that the expectations of faculty graduate administrators, the ones with much experi ence in administration, and ones taught guidance course in their studies^ from psychological counseling and guidance are not significantly higher than those of, respectively,. the cr.es being graduates of other colleges, ones with less administration experience, and ones not having had guidance courses. viii
