Özet
Bu araştırmada, arkadaşlık becerisi eğitiminin ilköğretim ikincikademeye devam eden öğrencilerin sosyometrik statülerine etkisiincelenmiştir. Bu amaçla, 2004-2005 Eğitim-Öğretim yılı ikinci döneminde,Malatya Kemal Özalper lköğretim Okuluna devam eden altıncı ve yedincisınıf öğrencilere Sosyometri tekniği uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerden sosyometriön test ve son testinde, birlikte olmak istedikleri ve birlikte olmakistemedikleri üçer arkadaşının ismini belirtmeleri istenmiştir.Ön test sonucunda; öğrencilerden, gönüllülüğe dayalı olarak kız veerkek olmak üzere on altı kişiden oluşan deney grubu oluşturulmuştur. Yinedeney grubuna paralel eşit sayıda öğrenciden oluşan kontrol grubuoluşturulmuştur. Her iki gruba ön uygulama sosyometri sonucunda, eşitsayıda popüler, ortalama, ihtilaflı, reddedilmiş ve ihmal edilmiş statüye sahipöğrenciler dâhil edilmiştir.Deney grubuna sekiz oturumluk ve sekiz hafta süren grupla arkadaşlıkbecerisi eğitimi programı uygulanmıştır. Kontrol grubuna hiçbir uygulamayapılmamıştır. Uygulama sonrasında tekrar sosyometri uygulanmıştır. Deneyve kontrol gruplarının ön test ve son test ölçümlerinin karşılaştırılmasındatekrarlanmış ölçümler için varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada hatapayı .05 olarak kabul edilmiştir.Arkadaşlık becerisi eğitimi sonunda, deney grubundaki popülerolmayan öğrencilerin sosyal tercih boyutu anlamlı düzeyde artış göstermiş tir.

In the research; the effect of the friendship ability training to thesociometric status of the secondary school students is examined. For this aim,in the second semester of 2004-2005 education year, sociometric technic isapplied to the sixth and seventh class students of Malatya Kemal Özalperprimary school. In the pre-test and final test, the students are asked to the tellthe names of three friends that they want to be with and they don?t want to bewith.As a result of teh pre-test, an experiment group which contains sixteenboy and girl students is set up based on volunteership. Also a control groupthat contains the same number of students is set up parallel to the experimentgroup. At the end of the pre-application sociometry, equal numbers ofpopular, average, controversial, rejected and neglected students are added tothe both two groups.An eight meeting and eight week group friendsihp ability trainingprogramme is applied to the experiment group. No application has been doneto control group. After the application sociometry has been applied again.Repeated Variancies Analysis has been used to compare the experiment andcontrol groups pre and final test measurements. In the research, the mistakerate was considered as .05After the f riendship ability training, the social preference dimension ofthe unpopular students in the experiment group has increased to considerabledegree.
